I was lying on my bed watching tv and eating popcorn. I had checked my phone every now and again to see if my boyfriend Eren would text me. He's been A.W.O.L for the past few weeks, not returning any of my calls or texts, he wasn't home. I was beginning to worry he might be cheating or something. I lay there on my bed watching tv having a lazy day since I didn't have to work. I was like that for an hour until I heard a knock on my door.

I groan not wanting to get up but the knocking continues. I force myself up and out of bed and make my way through the living room and to the door. I open it to find Mikasa. "Hey (Y/N), I was wondering if you wanted to walk around town for a little bit," she says.

"Yeah, I guess," I say before yawning. She looked me up and down. I must have had a bedhead or something.

"Okay... go make yourself pretty I'll wait in the living room," she says walking in. I shut the door and make my way back into the bedroom. I go to my closet and grab a pair of skinny jeans and a button-up black blouse. I go into the bathroom and fight with my (H/L) (H/C). Once I got it detangled I straightened it and then did my make up. I wonder why I have to look pretty? It's just us. I shrug the thought off and continue doing my makeup.

I get my clothes on and go over to my jewelry box and pull out a necklace Eren had gotten for me one Christmas. I put it on then opened the door and walk out to the living room. I grab my shoes and put them on. "Wanna grab lunch?" I ask.

Mikasa nods. As we walk to the door I had forgotten my phone. "Hang on I forgot my phone," I say running back into my room to grab it. I took a quick check to see if Eren had texted or called. He didn't. I turn off my phone and run back out through the living room and out the door with Mikasa.

We walked down to our favorite diner. We sat in a booth away from the other people and waited for the waiter to bring our food. "I think Eren might be cheating," I tell her. She looked at me in a bit of shock and almost spat out her drink.

"Have you seen him cheat?" she asks.

"No... but it feels like he is, he hasn't returned any of my calls or texts in weeks," I tell her.

"I doubt he is... he loves you," she says before taking another sip of her drink.

"Then what is he doing? You're basically his sister you should know." I say.

"I don't know," she says.

"Mikasa please, if he is cheating on me then tell me," I say.

"He's not cheating on you... he's just... busy." she says.

"What seeing his parents? He's been gone for two weeks and hasn't spoken a word." I tell her.

"Just wait and see, just calm down I doubt he's cheating on you," she says.

Our food arrived and we ate silently. I check my phone every so often to see if he called. Once again he didn't make me more worried. After lunch, Mikasa and I walked around and bought a few things to take my mind off of Eren. I had gotten so much stuff and Mikasa paid for all of it. I was beginning to get bored and think about Eren again. We were in the mall and walking out of a store when Mikasa saw something and pulled me in the directions.

There was a stage and music playing. I wasn't up for listening, I wanted to go back home and eat food and watch tv. I yanked my arm from Mikasa's grasp. "I'm gonna go home, thanks for today," I said sounding a bit sad.

"Wait (Y/N) not yet just this last thing," she says pulling on my arm again. The band started playing 1234 by Plain White T's which was mine and Eren's favorite song.

I went and sat at the table and watched the band play our songs. When it got to the end I was saddened. I wished Eren was here to listen to it with me. That was until Eren walked up onto the stage. "What is going on?" I ask Mikasa. Eren picked up the mike and tapped it to see if it was on.

"Shh," she says placing her pointer finger on her lips.

"(Y/N) (L/N) from when we went on our first official date, I knew you were the one for me. I remember the first night we spent together and how I got to wake up and see your face so cute with your messy hair. It made me realize that I want to wake up to that every day for the rest of my life. I remember when you asked me to move in with you. I was excited too, then I told you I had to go see my parents... when really I was planning this.." he stops and looks at me then walks off the stage and over to me. He bent down on one knee and held out a little black box in front of me.

"(Y/N) will you marry me?" he asks.

I covered my mouth. Tears began to stream down my face. I nodded excitedly and hold out my left hand for him to put the ring on. I was a bit shaky but he managed to get the ring on. I stood up and hugged him. He spun me around then let me down. "She said yes!" he says to the crowd. They began cheering for us.

"This is where you were for two weeks?" I ask.

He puts his attention back on me. "Yeah... I had to do something to surprise you," he says before kissing me.

I pull away and hug him again still crying. I look up at him and let him wipe my tears away. This was the best day of my life. "You knew," I tell Mikasa.

She nodded and smiled. "I had to get you out of the house somehow," she says.

"I think we've had enough fun for one day, wanna go home?" Eren asks. I nod and pull out of his grasp but take his hand in mine. As we walked out of the mall people would congratulate us and wish us luck.

~At Home~

Eren unlocked the door and we both walk in. The place was dark and it was raining. "I'll make dinner," he says turning the kitchen light on. I nod and go to the room to change into comfortable clothes. I noticed the room was a mess and there was something moving under the blankets.

"Uh... Eren there is something under the blankets in here." I call.

He walks in and stands in the doorway. I slightly lift the blanket up finding a little white kitten crawling around. In awe, I pick up the little kitten and look at Eren. "You are just full of surprises today mister," I say walking up and hugging him.

"You said you always wanted a cat," he says. I pull back and look up at him with the cat in my arms.

"We're one happy family now," I say looking up at him. He leaned down and kissed me. He pulled away after a few seconds then went back into the kitchen to make dinner. I sit at the table and watch him but something was missing. I sat there and looked at him puzzled.

"What?" he asks.

I get up from my spot and go to his side. He turned to face me. I pull up his shirt and bring it over his head. Now he was shitless. I go back to my spot and see he was blushing. "Yep there we go," I say.

He let out a small laugh and continued cooking while I watched him. "You enjoying the view now?" he asks.

"I always have, it's just better now that you're shirtless," I say before laughing.

He dishes out dinner and sets my plate down then his. We ate our dinner quietly and watched our cat sleeping on the couch in front of us. "We need to name (him/her)" Eren says.

"How about (C/N)." I suggest. He smiled and nodded in approval. We look back at (C/N) finding (him/her) holding her head while sleeping. One happy little family.
