~Levi~

I finally came to a decision on the tattoo I wanted. After taking time to one grieve, and another to choose the image I wanted to permanently mark on my body, I took the picture I printed and headed to the best tattoo shop.

I made sure to look through reviews, prices and many other qualities the shops had. That was when I was led to (L/N)'s Body Art. It was a family own type of place it seemed and the reviews were good. As I step in I find a girl sitting around waiting. Her body was covered in tattoos most I'm sure she gave herself.

When her eyes met mine her face lights up as she sits up. "Hi, how can I help you?" she asks. Standing up off the stool she stands before me. I hold out the image of the black and white rose. It was her favorite flower so this should do. "I'd like to get a tattoo of this, please," I tell her.

The girl smiles gently, and for a moment my eyes dart down at her name tag. (Y/N)...pretty name. "Oh sure, here come sit," she says stepping back and around the stool.

Patting on the seat I go and sit, she takes the picture and looks at it. "Where would you like it?" she asks.

I sigh and point on my upper arm near my shoulder. "Here," I say. She walks around and looks at my arm.

"Okay, well you'll need to remove your shirt sir-"

"My name's Levi." I interrupt her.

Glancing from the side she smiles gently. "Nice to meet you Levi, but you'll still need to take off your shirt," she says. I nod and slowly unbutton my shirt. First, she takes it and traces the image on some transparent paper. Then she gets the equipment out and slowly starts to get to work on it.

I ignore the pain and just look at my phone. "You want to tell me the meaning behind it?" she asks.

I glance over to her from my phone. "Why?" I ask.

She shrugs, keeping her eyes on my arm so she wouldn't mess it up. "Some customers like to tell me about it," she says.

I let out a soft sigh and look down. "It was my mother's favorite flower," I mumble.

There was a long moment of silence, I glance down at my arm watching as she continued to work. Looks good so far. "Oh, is she still around or is this one of those memorial type of tattoos?" she asks.

"She died a couple of weeks ago...although in my head I was planning to get a tattoo to remember her by," I mutter.

She stops for a moment and looks up at me. "I'm sorry to hear that," she says softly.

I smirk and shake my head. "It was inevitable, at least I got to see her one last time." I retort in a low tone.

There was another long silence as she continued to work when she was done she looks up at me from the low seat she had adjusted. "What was your mom's name?" she then asks.

"Kuchel," I answer.

"Do you mind if I write it below the rose? I know it'll seem like branding but..."

"Go ahead," I say before spelling it out for her. She writes my mother's name under the rose before cleaning some of it off. She informs me of what I need to do to take care of it. As I put my shirt back on, I stand up and begin to walk with her to the door. I nod to her as we both stop at the door.

As we both stood in the doorway I held a slip of paper that had my number. Let's just say I was very interested in seeing her again, maybe to get another tattoo, maybe some more. "Thanks, brat." I say, "And here, maybe we can meet again sometime." I say.

She takes it and I dash off to my car as the rain begins to come down. I look back once I got up to my car and watch her look back at me after opening the slip of paper. With a soft smirk, I wave before getting into my car. She would definitely be seeing me again, maybe mark a different part of my body.
