~(Y/N)~

It was a day before Christmas Eve when Erwin and I had our day off. Finally, we were able to finally decorate the tree. Putting on some classic Christmas music, I return to the tall tree with a box of glass ornaments in hand.

Erwin was on the ladder placing the angle at the top, "Careful honey," I remind him.

"I know,"

Placing some ornaments at the base, I slowly work my way up. Erwin finally descends the ladder and joins me in decorating. Grabbing the box of candy canes, he starts hanging those in spots that seemed empty.

Humming Christmas music to myself, I walk around the tree searching for more empty spots, but as I searched, I hadn't realized the large blonde man behind me. Caging me in his strong arms, I giggle softly. "Erwin, I'm not done yet,"

Feeling his lips by my ear, I hear him growl softly, "I know, but you looked cold," I chuckle once again as I squirm in his arms, then looking up I notice little white flurries slowly falling.

"It's snowing!"

Breaking free from his grasp, I head to the glass door, swinging it open, I step outside to watch the snowfall. It was kind of late for snow, usually, it would've arrived sooner, but we were forecasted for a winter storm, and I guess it's just starting.

Staring around in awe, I smile softly at the fact we'd have snow for tomorrow and the following day. Then I jolt at the feeling of something warm falling on my shoulders, it wasn't Erwin's arms like before. Instead, he had placed a blanket on me, so I wouldn't freeze. "Thank you, honey," I say just before kissing his cheek after he wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder.

We watched it for a while longer, then the wind started to pick up and we were starting to freeze even with the blanket on. Upon re-entering the apartment, I head over to the kitchen saying, "I'll make us some hot chocolate,"

"Okay, I'll finish hanging the ornaments," Erwin replies.

As I got out a couple of cups, the chocolate powder, and marshmallows, I began heating the water up in a kettle on the oven. After preparing the cups, I return to Erwin to help him finish. When that got done, we packed away the boxes and stored the Christmas tote, in a nearby closet along with the tree box.

As the kettle began to screech, I rush over and shut the oven off. Then with a mitten, I grab the handle and turn to the cups. I begin to fill them slowly so I wouldn't spill. Once I had finished, I turn to Erwin who was standing directly behind me. "Oh!" I jolt from being startled.

The blonde smiles softly and mutters a sorry. Shaking my head, I hand him his mug and walk with him into the living room again. Together we sat on the sofa and watching from the window as the snow got heavier. And right on cue, the song 'Let It Snow' began to play softly behind us.
