A/N: I don't really know what happened with the last chapter but just forget about it because it made zero sense. I deleted it but still. So here's the redo.
My mom finally came home from work and now we're eating dinner the night after the game. As we're eating she rambles on about politics or some shit. I'm not really listening though. My mind is on Bailey. I just can't believe Alyssa just kissed me out of the blue like that.
I feel sick so I excuse myself and go to my room.
The rest of the night passes slowly, I try to distract myself from Bailey but it doesn't work. Tears slide down my cheeks and my heart is heavy and hurts. I let Fall Out Boy quietly stream from my speaker but even that doesn't help improve my mood right now. All I want is Bailey-no all I need is Bailey right now.
I hear a tap on my window and I walk over to it. I open it and standing there is Bailey. My mouth drops open a bit, and I say, "Bailey? What are you doing here?"
"Um, can I come in?" She asks. She looks like a mess as much as I probably do. I nod and she climbs in.
I turn off my music and sit on my bed, she joins me and we sit there in silence for a while.
"I'm sorry." I say, breaking the silence.
"Sorry for what?" She asks.
"Alyssa kissing me."
"You shouldn't be sorry for other people's actions."
We look into each others eyes.
Then she breaks down crying.
"I'm sorry for all of the pain that I've caused you. This is all my fault." She sobs and I pull her into a hug.
"No Bailey, No. It's not your fault that other people act this way because of you."
"But it's my fault that they all like me."
"It's not your fault that you're so amazing and perfect." She sniffles and looks up at me.
Her perfect brown eyes stare into me and I slowly move my lips towards her. Then our lips are touching. It's salty from tears but also full of love and it's perfect. Her lips are soft and they feel so right as they dance with mine.
Soon we break apart we smile.
"I've been waiting so long for that." She says.
"Me too." I say.
She bites her lip as she remembers something.
"I should get going. My mom will getting worried soon."
I nod and we kiss one more time before she leaves.
I sigh as I climb into bed and think about just how perfect Bailey is. But can someone really be this perfect?
