The boy stands in front of me now. Daniel was his name, I think. I remember Bailey's plan that she drilled in me during lunch. My goal is to distract Daniel so he can't get to his car, because Bailey says that she's going to do something to it. I have no clue what she's going to do to it but I want to help her out so I agree to helping her out.
"So you're saying that Bailey told you, to tell me, to tell the office ladies, to tell the principal, to tell the school board, that we need a bigger parking lot because limos can't fit in the parking lot?" Daniel asks in confusion. I nod. "Why me?"
"Because Chelsea told Bailey that your good friends with William." I say, I almost burst out laughing because I'm having so much fun with this..
"William? You mean the seniors geology teacher?" I nod and he just looks at me with more confusion. Just then a whistle is blown indicating that Bailey's done.
"Uh, got to go!" I say and run off down the stairs and out into the parking lot. Thankfully I'm a fast runner so Daniel can't catch me and I run to where Bailey is standing in the parking lot with her phone in her hand recording Daniel chasing me. I run beside Bailey and clutch her arm as I watch Daniel freak out over his car which has the words, "we're done," written all over it in spray paint.
We burst out laughing as Baileys ends the video and Daniel drives away, but not without giving us the bird. Finally we stop laughing to catch our breath. "Thank you, I didn't really like him anyways," Bailey says.
"Oh, well you're welcome." I respond.
"Lets go to soccer practice. They're probably wondering where we are."
I nod and we go to soccer practice.
At the end of soccer practice Coach Jenny makes an announcement, "On Saturday morning we will have our first soccer game. So as tradition we'll be having a sleepover at my house Friday night. I'll send you guys all the info through Instagram." She says and the whole team cheers.
I smile and then go to change, but I'm stopped by Bailey running up in front of me.
"I have an idea." She says, "After our tutor session we can go out to eat and then go to Coach Jenny's house. But we'll have to bring our stuff to school. Are you okay with that?"
"Uh, yeah." I say and smile.
She nods and we part ways.
The rest of the night is filled with homework and texting Bailey, I'm starting to really get to know her but I feel like she's hiding something from me, but what could it be?
