Canada x Soviet
America x Third

If you don't know what Sunshine Village is, I suggest looking up pictures to see and get an idea of the ski resort. Search: "Sunshine Village Banff" and look at trail maps and main lodge.

And this chapter is more for the skiers/snowboarders. I just went skiing and my whole entire chins are covered with bruises :)

"So, we're forced to spend a week together?" The American asked, crossing his arms.

"Yeah, and it has to be in North America," Canada said, looking behind him before switching lanes.

Third looked out the window, "Where are we?"

"Just out of Calgary, Alberta," Canada said, resting his arm on the window sill. "I've decided we're going to Sunshine Village in Banff."

America growled, "But I bet Third doesn't even know how to ski or snowboard!"

"I do," Third said blankly. "I snowboard."

Soviet chuckled, "I do as well."

"Snowboard," Canada said, tapping the steering wheel absentmindedly.

"Snowboard," America said.

"The drive will be long, about an hour and a half," Canada said. "Get comfy."

A while later, Canada suddenly slowed down.

"You little dick!" He yelled. "Tabernak! Fuck, you could have killed us!"

Third stared at him, Soviet doing the same, and America pinching himself to see if it was a dream.

"Are... Are you okay?" Third asked wearily.

Canada smiled and nodded, "I'm fine. Sorry, just road rage."

"You do realize that you just cursed to the church, right?" America asked.

Canada chuckled, "That's what all French swears are."

"I've never heard you swear before," Soviet said. "Do it some more."

Canada shook his head, "No can do. I only swear like that when I have road rage or Dark comes out."

A long while later, they got to the ski resort. Canada pulled into a spot near the front, turning off the truck and clapping his hand together, "Let's get ready!"

TiMe SkIp

"I feel weird," Third commented. He was bundled up with a thick jacket, snow pants, ski boots, mittens, and a helmet. Large ski goggles covered his crimson eyes and a face mask protected his lower half of his face. His snowboard was dark red with swasitkas on the ends.

"Get used to it," Canada said, snapping his helmet on. Everything of his was either white or red. His was flag sewn on his backpack. His snowboard even had his flag on the underside, multiple stickers on the top.

America had his own snowboard. It had his flag on the underside and no stickers on the top. He had his own colour palette. Red, white, blue.

Soviet was leaning on the back of the truck, watching the scene unfold. His gear was any shade of red varying from a crimson red snowboard with a sickle and hammer on the bottom to light red goggles.

"On y va!" Canada said, grabbing his snowboard and closing the truck. He locked it and started to the gondolas to go up to the main mountain.

"How are you so excited?" Third asked, walking beside the northern country.

Canada smiled, "I adore snow, and it's only sometimes I get to go snowboarding."

They got up to the main lodge and Canada stopped them in front of Angel chair. "Which one first?" He asked. "Strawberry had more difficult green circle runs and Jackrabbit has easy green circles. Goat's Eye has blue squares and black diamonds..."

"Jackrabbit," America said. "I need to refresh my snowboard memory." Third nodded as well.

Soviet chuckled, "I would have gone with Goat's Eye."

"We can go on Jackrabbit and that leads to Wolverine and then we gan go on Goat's eye while Third and America go on Wolverine?" Canada asked, walking to a dip in the ground under the gondolas.

"Got it," America said, getting his snowboard ready.

Time skip because I'm lazy

"We're so high up!" Third squeaked, looking down off the chairlift.

"This is a small one," Canada said, sighing happily. "Longest one is... Mount Standish? Goat's Eye? Maybe Angel..."

America chuckled, "You sure know your runs. How many are there?"

"One hundred and twenty," Canada said instantly. "5% beginner, 37% intermediate, 40% advanced and 7% expert."

"Holy shit," Third said.

Soviet nudged the canadian, "Can't wait."

"You guys will turn right while we turn left, okay?" Canada said, pointing in the directions. "Continue down Miss Gratz and come back to this chair. Soviet and I will go down Banff Ave and to Goat's Eye. When you want to meet up, just text me, okay?"

Third nodded and America said, "Got it, captain."

"See you!" Canada said, hopping over to the top of the Banff Ave run. It wasn't that steep, yet it looked long. "Ready to rip through this one?"

Soviet got ready, "Been waiting for it the whole time."

"Race you!" Canada called, immediately shooting down the hill without stopping. Soviet growled and followed him.

It was the most fun he'd had in years. The stress of working and taking care of his kids flew away behind him like the snow and wind did.

Canada jumped over the small hills and ripped down the hill, passing by beginners and racing advanced skiers.

He stopped at the Goat's Eye chair, Soviet coming in just after him.

"You little cheat!" Soviet said, turning into the chairlift's entrance.

"How could I have cheated when you're so slow?" Canada asked teasingly. They got on the chairlift and started the long haul up the mountain.

Soviet rested his head on Canada's shoulder, "Thank you, Canada. This means a lot."

Canada held Soviet's hand, "Anything for the one I love."

"I love you, too," Soviet said.

"So... Are we together now?" Canada asked, leaning his head on Soviet's.

Soviet hummed, "If you want to be."

"Yeah, I do..."
