It's Canada x Russia again lol aaannnd Canada's a badass

Canada hit the attacking country with the hilt of his gun again, knocking them to the ground, out cold. He whirled around and shot at another zombie through the head then again at the brain. He narrowed his eyes, looking among the dense trees and keeping his ears open for any sounds other than his and his companion's panting.

"Do... Do you think they're gone?" Russia asked, his breaths short and shallow.

Canada nodded, "For now." He turned around and knelt to Russia's side. "Are you okay?" He asked, looking over the bloodied bite mark. Dark blue-green colour already started to spread through the veins, colouring the crimson skin.

Russia nodded, "I'll be fine, but you have to leave me."

Canada shook his head instantly, "Never. I will never leave you again. That is a promise I'm willing to keep, and I'm going to keep." He looked into Russia's scared, amber eyes, "I know you're scared, my love. But either we both turn or we both stay alive. I'm never leaving you."

"Please, Canada," Russia begged, tears falling from his eyes that were slowly turning light grey. "Leave me. I don't want you seeing me die!" He weakly shoved Canada, trying to make him leave or look away or something.

"You know I can't do that!" Canada cried, his own tears falling. He tried to stop them by closing his eyes, but that only sped them up. "You're the last person alive that I love!" He looked into Russia's eyes, "Please, Rus... Don't let me go."

Russia chuckled, trying to push himself up on the tree he was leaning on, "You're so stubborn, y'know." Canada laughed, but it turned into a sob. "Don't cry, love," Russia said, brushing Canada's cheek with his knuckles. "Just don't forget me." Russia choked out a cough as blood started trickling down his chin.

Canada stood up, clocking the AK-47 that was his boyfriend's. He pointed it at Russia who was coughing up bile and blood and clawing at the ground.

"I'm so sorry."

Bang

Bang

Russia fell to the ground fully, unmoving. Canada dropped the gun, having the belt around it catch it from falling to the forest ground. He took Russia's coat and covered the corroded body. He stood up and turned around, slowly walking into the forest.

"Canada!"

Canada looked up to see Russia's worried face.

"What happened, love?"

Canada looked back and saw Russia's body gone.

"Remember? They're hallucinations.

"Right... Hallucinations..."
