Hopeless but Helpless
╚ ══════ ≪ °❈° ≫ ══════╝
She tries to forget.
She wants to forget.
But how can she ever forget?
Forget a scenery so beautiful?
When it has already
been carved into her mind?
When it is all
that's imprinted on her?
The distance has always been present,
but she has always disregarded it;
still looking into the night,
lost in his eyes.
Hoping that maybe
those little glimmers in his eyes
are her hope
to draw closer to him.
But it seems he has found another.
And she wished it was all a simple lie,
but she knew too well
that their fate will never intertwine.
As a fool who is stuck in hopeless love,
I got what I deserved
for not believing in the reality
that I can never own your galaxy.
Only one can dream
to close that distance between stars.
An impossible feat
for someone who only ever stands by.
But I'll continue to gaze your stars,
watching you from afar.
I know it's hopeless,
but I'm too helpless.
Just like how a star is everything
to a stargazer,
but a stargazer is nothing
to a star.
