In Another Life

Do you know that feeling when you first see or just meet someone and you feel like you already know them? Something about them makes you feel safe and comfortable. It's like you two have already met, but maybe not in this lifetime. Memories are hovering just out of reach but if you strain enough you can remember flashes.

Gosh. You're as beautiful as I remember. Your smile today was the same as before. It gave me a warm familiar feeling. I couldn't keep my eyes off you, but I guess you saw that. You looked like you wanted to talk to me but you turned away.

I almost said something to you as I passed you but it didn't feel right this time. The moment our eyes locked felt like you were staring right into my soul. It's like you knew what I was trying to say and you understood. Maybe in another life.
