Two bodies pressed close in an embrace

Clenched fists and avoidance of eye contact

One trail of footprints

Stormy skies and grey clouds

One broken heart

Unspoken words and shattered promises

One left behind

A desperate last cry and faltering steps

One hand reaching out

Falling tears and a lonely ache inside

One last smile

A final plead to stay and to love

One last goodbye
