Chapter 18: Sneaking

A month and nine days had passed since the Quidditch match. Reign's advanced lectures with Professor Carrow is already over. She knows a lot of spells by now. Such as 'Tarantallegra' and 'Serpensortia', but most of all, The Leg-locker Curse. She had been practicing it secretly. Reign's studies are a lot more easier since Vell is helping them. She told them about magical creatures such as a hippogriff, a grindylow, a centaur, and more. Serinna didn't have any problems with her studies too, as Vell teaches her how to use a spell in a correct way (since she has been deducting points because of her pronunciation).

Reign is also getting along with Slytherins as she is in the third task of the Crimes. But no one seems to notice it but Aina Black. This day is Halowe'en. After classes, the students hurried down to the Great Hall to have some spooky dinner. The tables were full of delicious foods. Almost everything is covered with confetti. Apple tops, bat chocolates, wizard crackers, bloody ice cream were all good enough to taste. Everybody spent the time all full at the tummy.

The students went back to their common room after dinner. The Gryffindor Common Room was so crowded. Vell suddenly pulled Serinna and Reign upstairs, to their dorm. Saying she had finished another chapter of her book and swore to tell everything to them.

Serinna: What is it about now?

Vell: My favorite! The Minister's history!

Serinna: The Minister?!

Serinna said, eyes wide open, jaw dropped out of shock, and excitement.

Vell: "Hermione Jean Granger. Born on 19th of September, 1979. A muggle-born witch. Married to Ronald Bilius Weasley. Minister Hermione Jean Granger was an English Muggle-born witch born to Mr. and Mrs. Granger. At the age of eleven, she learned about her magical nature and had been accepted into Hogwarts. Hermione began attending Hogwarts at 1991 and was sorted into Gryffindor House.
She possessed a brilliant academic mind and proved to be gifted student in almost every subject that she studied. Hermione first met Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley aboard the Hogwarts Express, who found her unfriendly and somewhat of an "insufferable-know-it-all". She stepped in to take the blame from the boys after they had saved her from a troll on Halloween of 1991.
In her second year, Hermione had a key role in the discovery of The Chamber Of Secrets before falling victim to the basilisk unleashed upon Hogwarts following the open of the chamber. She recovered the petrification under the care of Madam Pomfrey and Professor Sprout's Mandrake.
The next year, Hermione was granted permission to use a Time-Turner from the Ministry of Magic to facilitate her volition to study far more subjects than was possible without time travel. She and Harry later used it to rescue Sirius Black from the Dementors of Azkaban and Buckbeak the Hippogriff from execution.
In 1997, she fought in the Battle of the Seven Potters alongside the Order of the Phoenix. Hermione and Ronald decided not to return to Hogwarts for their final year of studies, instead choosing to accompany Harry on his quest to find and destroy Lord Voldemort's Horcruxes. She was the one who destroyed Hufflepuff's Cup, a horcux. Hermione then fought in the Battle of Hogwarts, helping in the defeat of the Death Eater who tortured her, Bellatrix Lestrange.
Hermione then went back on her last year of studies. She later found employment with the Ministry of Magic. She was promoted to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, dedicating to eradicate old laws biassed in favour of pure-bloods. Hermione eventually married Ronald Weasley and together they had two children, Rose and Hugo. She became the godmother of Harry and Ginny's eldest son James. By the year 2019, Hermione becane the Minister of Magic. "

Vell closed the book and looked at the two. Jaw dropped looking at her.

Vell: Contented? I'm contented. No interruptions. Any questions?

Reign: No, I think.......

Vell: Then let's go to sleep.

They changed in their usual pajamas and went to bed. Reign had better sleeps in Hogwarts than in the Larsons. Her bed was a four-poster bed, bright red, with red and white covers, comfy pillows,and most of all, the sound of the rain. They had enter the raining season.

Around one at the morning. Reign woke up, hearing Serinna's loud snores. She walked downstairs and sitted on one of the couches. She looked straight at the fireplace.

Reign finally decided too move on to task 4, enter the dungeons. Reign took her scarf and added a color charm on it to make it green and silver. She slowly walked at the hall, fearing Filch might be behind her. She walked down to the Great Hall and just wondered around. She started to hear fast footprints. She ran to find a hiding place—bumped to a wall. She didn't scream or anything but went down to the potions classroom.

Next to it is the dungeons. She carefully entered. It was so cold, dark, and eerie in this place. She knew this wasn't just any dungeon—it's the Slytherin Common Room. Almost everything is black and green. She took a sit at the sofa, it was comfy. She looked around and saw a vase. It wasn't green, or black, nor white. It was gold. She walked closer to it.

She wasn't looking at where she was going, she was too attracted to the vase that she tripped over a hump and fell on the floor. BANG! Not only that she broke the vase accidentally.
Someone was coming down, murmuring.

Aina: The bloody hell is going on here? Bad Merlin! The vase is broken!
The vase is broken! Emma! Emma!Shaya Munich! Bad Merlin! I need bloody help!

Reign heard the voice fading away and ran outside the door. Escaping what she did. She ran down the corridor and met Mrs. Norris in the Stair Well. Reign can't bear it but she really wants to kick Mrs. Norris. What a horrible cat! Reign thought. Instead of staying there, hesitating, she ran off after hearing Filch's voice. She quickly ran to the Gryffindor Tower and whispered really fast at the Fat Lady.

Reign: Gargoyle lunacy! Gargoyle lunacy! Gargoyle-

Fat Lady: All right! All right! Come on in!

The portrait swung open and Reign entered, and saw Vell and Serinna in front of her.

Vell: Where have you been? We were worried at you.

Serinna: I thought you disappeared!

Reign: Well—er—let's go to bed. Filch almost got me.

The three discussed what she was doing and immediately gone to bed.
The next morning, in the Great Hall they were eating.
