Chapter 5: First Day At Hogwarts

TRANSFIGURATION CLASS

Serinna: Come on! Faster, hurry up! We're going to be late!

Vell: Ugh! I can't believe I will be late at my first class.

Serinna: Shut it, Vell.

The trio runs toward the room, they opened the door and quickly ran to the empty seats.

Vell: I couldn't imagine how Professor McGonagall's face look like when she knows were late.
[Sighed]

A grey cat sitting above the teacher's desk jumped up suddenly and transformed into a human.

Professor McGonagall: Good morning, you three. I believe you received the class schedule, why do you have to be late when it says 9:00?

Vell: Professor, We had a little trouble looking for our first class. This place is big.

Professor McGonagall: Well, I hope I don't need to turn one of you into a time watch. So you won't get late! Or perhaps a map, so will get here in time?

Serinna: Sorry, Professor. We will be earlier next time.

Professor McGonagall: I rely on that.
Now let's begin. Today, we will be transforming animals into water goblets, like so. 1,2,3.

All of the students were amazed, the bird in the desk turned into a water goblet.

Professor McGonagall: Who would like to give it a try? Hmm..... Qamikaze.

Vell confidently took out her wand and counted 1,2,3.

Professor McGonagall: Great! 10 points for Gryffindor. Who wants to go next? Um.... You! Patridge.

Vell: Reign! What's our next class?

Reign took out the piece of paper and read it.
Reign: Um.... Defence Against The Dark Arts....... 11:00 - 3:30

Serinna: Who's the professor?

Reign: Let me see..... Professor Carrow.

A few minutes later.

Professor McGonagall : Class dismissed. Except..... Roses.

Serinna and Vell looked back, they told Reign to stay.

Serinna: Go on, Reign. You won't be late! [Jokingly]

Reign was left behind, and went towards Prof. McGonagall.

Reign: Professor, why did you want me to stay behind?

Professor McGonagall: I have something to give you. [gives a book with a golden cover].

Reign: What is this, Professor?

Professor McGonagall: It's a book your mother gave me, she said to keep it. And give it to you at the proper time.

Reign: What is inside this?

Professor McGonagall: See for yourself. You can go now, you might be late for your next class.

Reign: Thank you, Professor.

Reign then runs towards the door, opened it and ran through the corridors.

Vell: Reign, come on in. Professor is now yet here.

Reign breathes in relief and walked calmly inside and sat beside Serinna.

Serinna: What is that?
