I wake up, still, a bit dazed as I look around the room. I was tied down to a chair, I couldn't make out much of anything. Then someone turns on the light, making me wince and my headache.

"Looks like our Darling girl is finally awake.", a voice I recognize as Queenie's says.

"Queenie? What's going on?"

I look around, now being able to see a few cabinets and tables with different tools on them. I also noticed I was in a basement, a big one with no windows.

"I'll give you a minute to remember last night."

That's when everything started getting back to me, the party, me leaving, Alex, her drugging me.
'No, no, no, this can't be happening.'

"I did warn you.", she said cockily as she drank from her wine glass.

"Oh, and you didn't help her?"

"What, ever, gave you the impression that you could trust me?"

"But why help Alex? You two aren't exactly on good terms."

"True, but everything has a price."

"Price? You're joking, right? What could she possibly have-"

"Letting me go to the city on my own. I don't exactly enjoy being trapped in this house, only being let out with a nanny."

"She'd wouldn't do that? Just for you to help her kidnap me? She's probably lying."

"She's not smart enough to lie. Besides it wasn't only to fake your death and kidnap you, I'm gonna wipe that boyfriend of yours off your mind."

"Excuse me?"

"What? You didn't think the plan was only kidnapping you and faking your death right?"

"Honestly that seemed like something Alex would do, yes."

'God, I want her dead- No I don't.'

"Correct, but I was on the writing board when she was coming up with a plan. Thank god, for her."

"Oh, and now you're just working for Alex? You can't be serious."

"The things I do for freedom, am I right?"

"Yeah but, taking orders from Alex, really? How low are you prepared to go?"

"I know you're just trying to make me go against Alex, helping you escape or whatever. But it's not going to work, I already don't like her or you. So I suggest you try something else."

'I want to kill her- no, I don't.'

She walks somewhere behind me.

"You didn't answer the question."

"When I know I'll make sure to tell you."

I sigh.

"Why is she even doing this? I mean I knew she wasn't alright but I didn't know she would..."

"Well if she didn't take away some of your memory she'd know you'd never forgive her. Also, you'd never get over him."

"Why does she even hate him? Out of the criminals why him?"

"Well, he's the only criminal dating you. Besides she needs someone to blame."

"Blame? For what?"

"You. For you not being the same innocent, good girl she knew as. First, it was me, it still kinda is. Being a bad example to you an all. But since I've repeatedly stated my wish to stay away from both of you, she needed someone else."
