Taking Care Of You I(DaJeong)

"Where is Dahyun?"

"It's cold. Wear this."

"Have you eaten already?"

"Are you okay? Be careful."

"Don't be afraid. I'm here. I'll take care of you."

Those were just some of her words that made me feel like I'm very special. Like I was one of the most precious diamonds that need to be protected and handled with care. As if I was a baby who cannot do anything but cry.

I couldn't help but smile whenever I remember those times she's taking care of me. She's almost perfect, no, she's really perfect. A beautiful angel that I, myself, couldn't stop myself to fall.

Yes, I fall. But sadly to say, she doesn't know it plus someone's been courting her from the start. Sometimes, I feel like she has something to me too but I will immediately shake it off since she's always like that to us, it's just that when it comes to me, it's extra.

"Dub!" I instantly removed my smile when someone called my name. It's Momo.

I stand up and face her. She looks nervous and sad. She's running but as soon as she reached my arm she pulled me and run again towards her car.

"What is this about, Momo? I'm resting." I asked when we were both inside the car. She seriously looked at me, I thought she was going to answer bit she just shook her head. Seriously, what's happening?

After a while, we reached a place, an open field particularly and all the members were there but they are not the only people there. There's a lot. Until I spotted this certain group.

BTS.

And with that, I think I knew what's going to happen.

"Let's go, Dub." Momo removed her seat belt but I remained seated. I'm nervous. I don't know how to feel once I see what will happen.

"Dub, we have to hurry. The members don't know what to do. We don't even know that this will going to happen not until we received messages from Jimin that she will ask her to be officially a couple. So please, Jeongyeon might change her mind once she sees you." She removed my seatbelt and opened the door for me.

Yes, they know my feelings for Jeongyeon. They often teased us whenever we're together but Jeongyeon doesn't care. She will just tease them back.

"How could I change her mind? She doesn't feel the same way." I sadly said to her. Momo reached my hand and made me face her.

"Just trust us with this, okay?" I just nodded.

Momo and I walked hand-in-hand towards them. The members saw us but Jeongyeon. She's there, in the middle of the field, inside the heart-shaped roses watching Jimin sing while playing the guitar.

"Dahyun." Sana first saw us which made the other members turned their heads towards me with their eyes full of sympathy.

"Come here, Dahyun." Jihyo commanded, she's on the front where you could watch the 'scene' clearly, but I don't want that. I will just hurt myself more.

But Nayeon pushed me towards the front and there, I saw clearly how she smiles, how she seems so happy by what Jimin is doing. I saw her looked at our side but she avoided my gaze. Which hurts me more.

I watched how the BTS member lined up and revealed the words written on the cardboard they are holding.

"Will you be my girlfriend, Jeongyeon?"

I felt Jihyo's hand on my hand and held it tightly, and then pulled me out of the crowd, away from the place, away from the people, away from being hurt. But I guess Jihyo unnie is too late to save me from this.

"Yes, Jimin."

"Dahyun? Let's go." I looked at her over my shoulder but immediately diverted my eyes into the book I was reading. She's waiting for me at the door of our room but I do not care at all anymore.

It's been months since that happened. And she became busy. We barely see her. We could barely talk to her not unless we have schedules and if we haven't it's either she'll go to BTS' place or Jimin will go here. It is really annoying not only because I love her but because she forgot that she has other friends, too.

"Dahyun?" She called me again and this time, I closed my book, and coldly looked at her. She seems shocked by the way I looked at her. No wonder why, this is the first time she ever talked to me again, the very first time she waited for me again since she became in a relationship.

"You go first, unnie. I'm waiting for Jihyo." I said without breaking the eye contact. She opened her mouth but there's no word came out of it. Maybe because of the word 'unnie' which I call her the first time. She doesn't want to be called that especially by me. Don't know why, though.

"Unn-" She was about to say something but Jihyo came.

"Dubu, let's go? Oh Jeongyeon, good morning." She greeted Jeongyeon and go straight to me to kiss me on my cheeks. Which she rarely does.

I saw Jeongyeon's hand-formed into a fist but she hid it in her jacket's pocket.

"Are you ready? Have you eaten already? Do you want me to get you food?" Jihyo asked which made me smiled. I know what she's doing. But I know the other one wouldn't be affected by this because again, she doesn't feel anything special to me.

"Will you? I'm hungry and I forgot to eat dinner yesterday. I'm starving." I pouted and hugged her. Jihyo has been with me since Jeongyeon became busy. She did what Jeongyeon's been doing for me. She takes care of me like the way how Jeongyeon made me feel. But she made it clear to me that she doesn't have any feelings for me since she has a boyfriend and it is a secret that only us know. At least, she doesn't forget us even she has a boyfriend, unlike the girl who has been watching us 'til now.

"Of course! Wait, wear your jacket, it's very cold outside." She gets the jacket and wears it to me, "Oh, Jeongyeon? Why are you still here? Go, the members probably waiting for you. Just please tell them to wait for us for a minute." Jihyo said and smiled at her.

We walked past her and I saw how her eyes soften and filled with hurt as she saw the scenario a while ago. She followed us and I could feel her stares boring holes at my back. We just parted ways when we walked inside the kitchen and she walked outside where the other members are waiting.

"Aren't we being too harsh on her?" Jihyo asked while making me a sandwich. I exaggeratedly scoffed at her.

"Do you want me to hit you right on your head, unnie? No one told you to be like that!" I said and laugh at her. Funny, how she instantly regrets what she did.

She pouted, "Well, I think she was affected and somehow knock her consciousness so we better continue this act."

After she finished, we walked towards the car and made ourselves comfortable with our seats while the manager is checking on us. This is very awkward since Jeongyeon is on my side while Jihyo unnie is on the other.

"What took you so long?" Nayeon asked when the car started to move. She's sitting in the front seat and she has to look back to talk to us.

"Jihyo made me this!" I happily said as I raised the sandwich to let her see it. The members also looked at us and joined in the conversation.

"Oh... Seems like you've found someone who could replace our Jeongyeon unnie since she became busy." Tzuyu savagely said which made me swallowed my own saliva that leads me to cough.

I saw two bottles of water in front of me and it came from Jeongyeon and one from Jihyo. I looked at Jeongyeon and she seemed very worried but still, I decided to take Jihyo's.

I saw hurt in her eyes as she takes back the bottle of water.
