Chapter 7

"Where's Sally?" Knuckles asked as he slowly made his way to Sonic's side.

"How should i know?" Sonic simply answered while walking.

"You went out with her." Knuckles said.

"So?"

"She's with you. So, you should know where she is. Duh." Knuckles said as he rolled his eyes.

"She's none of my business. Just because you're my right hand, doesn't mean you should know everything that happened to me. Go back to work." Sonic said coldly and enter his office as the door automatically closed behind him.

"I told you to stop worrying right?" Rouge smirked and sat beside Knuckles.

"Its like his emotion is getting sucked out of him slowly." Knuckles mumbled.

"Because. He never met his true love. I mean, look at me. I found my devil incubus." Rouge giggled and played with Knuckles's strand.

"Ya think? Should we set him up?" Knuckles smirked and looked at his girlfriend.

"We are his trusted one. So.. Why not?" Rouge giggled seductively.

"God you're so smart." Knuckles smirked sexily and kissed Rouge on her lips. Letting their tongue dance.

"I'll feast tonight, if you don't mind." He said grinning sexily. "You'll be my food."

"You're a wonderful person, Amy." Sally smiled as she's now holding a cup of tea.

"Well. That's me." Amy giggled.

"Aren't you supposedly at work?" Sally suddenly asked.

Amy blinked before giggling once again. "I'm on a break. But. Aren't YOU supposedly at work?"

"O-oh! My!" Without thinking, Sally quickly stood up, not before smiling at Amy. "Thank you so much, Amy. I'll see you soon!" And left.

Amy smiled and only waved while the fork touches her lips. "That girl deserves a guy who'll love her back." She mumbled.

"But, if you really like him that much. Maybe show some efforts. Do the things you thinks he likes."

I wont give up. I can do this!

Sally thought as she made her way to her table. "I don't care if he push me away over and over. Amy was right. I was just at the beginning and yet i'm losing hope. I can do this!

"I see you've made a new friend." Shadow chuckled as he stood in front of the cash register with his arms crossed.

"Well, she's all by herself. And no one's gonna comfort her. So.. I did!" Amy giggled walking way to his side while tying her apron.

"You're so weird." Shadow once again chuckled.

"Thank you. And so are you." She smiled at him.

Why would you do that? Smiling at me like that.

He thought while trying to control his raging heart beat. "Ahem. I believe its now my turn to have a break."

"Oh right. Go go go now!" Amy giggled pushing away Shadow from the cash register. "While there are no customer!"

"Alright, alright." Shadow smirked at him and made his way to the back room.

"Here's your coffee." Knuckles said placing the cup of black coffee on top of Sonic's office table.
