Chapter 18

"W-why would you kidnap me?" Amy frowned.

"I have my reasons." He said. "Have a seat with me, please." He gesture her to sit in front of him.

Amy didn't hesitate and sat.

"I know you love Sonic, for i, do as well." He started. "When we was a child, i wasn't able to bond with him since i was too busy with the company. But i was grateful enough that his brother was able to give him the love he needed."

"Shadow?"

"Yes. Shadow. He is a very intelligent man. He met their mother and father while he was young. Which is why, i believe the reason why Sonic was very attached to him." He said.

"But, what happened to their parent?" Amy asked.

"Once i told you the reason, you will also know the true identity of my grandsons. Even i, the whole identity of ours."

"What do you mean?"

"Many years ago. A clan ambushed our mansion. They heard the news about Sonic, being born with two purification period."

"Ha?"

"Haha." He laughed. "My child. We are incubus and succubus. We are a demon."

"Sonic!" Shadow growled.

Sonic glared at the new comer. "What do you want?!"

"You're pathetic! Use your head for once! Releasing your aura like that might attract other demon to attack you!" Shadow growled.

"I will kill them all." Sonic growled darkly.

"What?" Shadow hissed.

"They got her."

"D-demon?" Amy eyes widen.

"Unbelievable?" He chuckled. "Sonic is an immortal. He may age. But it'll be for a while."

"H-how old w-was he?" Amy asked.

"Ask him yourself." He added. "Since Sonic was born with two purification period. That makes him more powerful than us."

"What is a purification period?"

"That is a day being a mortal." He said.

"You mean, Sonic has two days of being a mortal? L-like us?" Amy stuttered.

"Yes. Unlike the normal demon who only has one. That makes Sonic powerful. For he is the Master of the Wind." He looked at her. "He has the ability of speed, making him the fastest demon."

"Wind? Does that mean there are other elements?" Amy asked as she grab herself a cup of tea.

"You're a smart one." He smiled. "There are five elements. Water, fire, earth, wind and ice. The very rare ability is Ice."

"How about Shadow?" She blinked. "Sonic mentioned me Shadow was stronger t-than him."

"He is. For he uses his mind. In a very young age, Shadow was open and was able to see the truth of the world." He said sadly. "I was very harsh to him when he was a child. Saying that he wanted to live like an mortal. I disgrace him. I made him leave our clan, which breaks Sonic. I had to see Sonic hold his tears as he watched his brother left."

"He left?!" Amy was shocked.

"Yes. He prefer peace. No war, no arguements. None."
