Chapter 16

After the fight between Sonic and his grandfather. He knew his grandfather would do something drastic to harm Amy. Without a second thought, he called his brother.

"That insolent brat! I cannot believe he grew just like his stupid brother! They are a disgrace to our clan!" Burst of the old clan leader.

"My lord. Your health." His assistant warned.

"Seeing the future of this company is already killing me! I will never ever accept a taboo grandchild!" He yelled furiously.

(His Grand grand child)

"But my lord. As long as Mr. Sonic is managing the company, everything will be alright."

"You don't get my point." He glared.

"So, how was it with your grandfather?" Amy asked as she looked at him.

"Honestly, he's not so happy when he heard the news." Sonic said looking back at her.

"T-that means. He's? Against u-us?" Amy said sadly.

Sonic, noticing his girlfriend's sudden change of mood, quickly wrap his arms around her gently. "It's alright my princess. No one will get between us. Not even him."

"You're not concern about it?" Amy said sadly.

"I am. I am just not thinking on it too much. My grandfather and i has been very close ever since, but i didn't know this side of his." Sonic said scowling. "I love him but this side of him is all new too me. I must be careful."

"Is that so?" Shadow glared.

"I didn't know he'd show this side of his to me." Sonic sighed.

"I know him too well, Sonic. I am warning you to be careful. We don't know what he can do to Rose." Shadow glared. "I already told you not to date her but you with your hard head, won't listen to me. You put Rose's life in danger."

"Hey. Which side are you on anyway?" Sonic said looking up to his pacing brother.

"We can protect her." Shadow said as he stopped pacing. "If he lay a finger on her. I swear i will kill him."

"Once you kill him. We can rule the clan together." Sonic said looking away.

"Of course. But it is too risky for everyone in our clan still follows him than you." Shadow said.

"Do we need to form a plan?"

"No. We will let him form his plan. Once we figure out his plan, we will reverse everything and manipulate our kind to hate him. In that way we can finally kill him." Shadow explained.

"What if we failed? Amy is involve in this." Sonic said finally standing.

"That is your weakness. You're looking at the negative side. We must plan another incase this won't work. But thank you for warning me."

"You said you'd be busy? Haha. And yet, you're here infront of my door." Amy giggled seeing her boyfriend.

"I wanted to see what my lady is doing." Sonic smiled gently.

"Come in." Amy said leading the way. "I'll grab you something to drink.

"Thank you."

"I've been meaning to ask this."

"Hm?"

"Um.." Amy nervously stir the drink she's making.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Are you still going at Madam Kalie's?"

Sonic's emotion suddenly went blank. "Why do you ask?"

"Well. You have a girlfriend now. It will really hurt me if you are still." Amy said and sat beside him before placing the drink on the table. "A-and you have a past of being a playboy. I just wanted to know what i am getting myself into."

"Are you scared?" Sonic asked looking at her.

"Of getting hurt emotionally. Yes." Amy looked away as her ears drooped.

"I am." Sonic said. "I know your purity is important for you, Amy. But i have needs." He added while starring at her.

"I-i have to go to the groceries. Haha!" Immediately, Amy stood up and grab her coat and her purse and headed to the door.

"I'll join you." Sonic stood up.

"N-no! You stay here and be comfortable. I-i need some time alone too, haha. I'll see you later!" She said and left.

Sonic knew he hurt her. This is the consequences of dating a mortal. Especially for someone who's traditional like her.

He's been playing with ladies all his life.

Is this what it feels like being dishonest?
