Nova's POV:
When I opened my eyes the first thing I realized was how bad my arm hurt. Then I remembered I slept on the floor so I guess it makes sense.
I turned my head to see a sleeping Payton. Ugh why does he have to be here like damn, literally we we best friends, well I though we were, up until he just decided to do what he did. I just dismissed those thoughts and got up and got some clothes to change into.
I walked downstairs to the smell of pancakes. Which is my favourite breakfast. "Oh hey Nova, Joanne and I are almost done making breakfast so could you get Payton so we can eat?" "Alright" I sighed dreading how I have to go near him again. "PAYTON" I yelled as I threw a pillow at him to get him to wake up.
He just groaned and rolled over and cuddled into the pillows, so I guess he still loves sleep just as I remember. "Wake the hell up or I'm going to jump on you" I said annoyed. "Yeah right" he mumbled still half asleep.
"Bet" I said as I jumped onto him. "Wtf, you seriously just did that?" He asked still half asleep and confused. "Yes now get up" I said giggling a bit. He just turned his head and look at me while I was starting to get up, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me down beside him.
"Wtf?" I asked confused and a little upset because I remember I'm supposed to hate him. All he did was stare at me until he just started tickling me. "Nooo stoppp" I said while laughing. "Only because I'm hungry" he laughed and stoped. "We're eating pancakes" I said as I walked out and went downstairs to eat.
Payton's POV:
I felt like I was sorta getting her to forgive me a little after this morning but I'm not quite sure, I just hope so. Before I got ready I decided to make a tiktok because I didn't post all day yesterday. I'm not going to lie I picked this song kinda for Nova but no one but me needs to know that.
After I posted that tiktok I got dress quickly so I could go eat since their all probably waiting for me. When I walked downstairs I didn't know where to sit so I just sat beside Nova. It was just silent until Nova's mom spoke up.
"So Payton how has it been in North Carolina?" she asked. " uh it's be good I just miss my old friends that were here" I responded back putting another piece of pancake in my mouth.
"Oh well why don't you and Nova go and hang out with some friends later" she said very joyful. "Oh um actua-" Nova started. "sound great" I responded cutting Nova off smiling at our moms.
Nova just got up and put her dishes in the sink and stormed upstairs. "What up with her?" Nova's mom asked. I shrugged my shoulders and said "I'll go check on her" while putting my dishes in the sink and went upstairs.
Nova's POV:
I don't want to hang out with him, I literally hate him. I just laid in bed face first and just stayed there. Until I hear my door open, and I already knew who it was. "Go away" I complained annoyed while still having my face in the pillow.
"I'm going to go live" Payton explained. "No, not in here" I said looking back at him. "Too late" he said as he stood it phone up on the desk and went live. I just groaned and laid back down.
Payton's POV:
As I started the live there was a lot of comments about where I was. "Guys I'm just staying at my moms friends house because we wanted to take a break from North Carolina" I explained to my live.
"Ughhh" I heard from behind me as I saw Nova get up and walk out of the room. Now most of the comments we about who that was. "That was just an old friend, she's just cranky because she didn't want me to go live in here" I said but then all the comments were like.
"Ohh Payton's with a girl" or "did they fuck or something?" Or "it's his secret girlfriend" I just ignored them and continued my live for a bit.
"Ok guys so I'm going to get off this live now byee" I said as I ended the live. I got up and headed downstairs where everyone was. I went to sit on the couch beside Nova. "So when are we going to hang out with everyone?" I asked really wanting to know because I miss my old friends.
" I'll text the group and see when they can" she sighed and got up to head to the backyard. I just nodded and went on tiktok.
Nova's POV:
He needs to stop following me around, like does he not understand I don't want to be around him? I texted the group chat and asked about hanging out. I was honestly ok with it since I could hang out with my friends and talk to them instead of Payton.

Me: Hey guys I was wondering If you guys wanted to hangout with Payton and I?
Sarah: WAIT, WHAT Payton's here?!
Me: yeah he's visiting for a bit.
Ryland: hell yeah for sure
K.C: of course
Harper: um, ok?
Noah: the boys back hell yeah
Grace: would but I'm busy
Roy: same
Me: that fine but the rest of you where do you want to hang out?
Sarah: there's a fair about 5min away from here, we could go there? If you guys want.
Everyone: sure
Me: what time should be meet up?
Roy: maybe around 6:30?
Everyone: sounds good!
I walked back inside and told payton that we are going to the fair and leaving to go at 6:30, it was currently 2:48pm so I still had like a little more that 3 hours to do whatever. So I decided to just watch some Netflix. After a bit I checked the time, oh shoot it's 5:57. I went to the bathroom and started doing my hair and makeup.
It's was almost 6:30 and I was just waiting on payton to finish getting ready. I was just sitting on the couch on my phone when he finally came down the stairs. His hair was wet so I'm guessing that he took a shower.
And I'm not going to lie he was kinda hot but I hate him because of what he did. "Ready?" He asked. "I was waiting on you" I said as I rolled my eyes. I got up and we started to walk to the fair not talking.
