Nova's POV:
Skip tour
Tour was finally over. I'm going to miss all of them. I've met so many great people and now we all have to go. I'm really going to miss them.
Payton's 17th birthday happened and we all rented out a trampoline park for a surprise. It was really fun and he seemed to enjoy it. Even though it was his birthday he gave me this beautiful sunflower necklace. Sunflowers have always been a thing between us.
Currently Payton and I are at the airport. He has to go back to North Carolina.
"I'm going to miss you" I pouted hugging Payton. "I'm going to miss you too but I'll come visit you" Payton said squeezing me.
I looked up to see his angelic eyes staring right back at me. I felt my eyes starting to water at the thought of having to leave him.
"I don't want you to leave" I said placing my head back into his chest. "I don't want to leave you either" Payton sighed. I felt tears start you escape my eyes and I just cried into his chest.
Payton tried to calm me down and rubbed my back. "Shh it's okay" he said. "I hate seeing you cry, it breaks my heart" he finished.
After a few minutes of that I let go of the hug. "I promise I'll always be there for you" Payton said holding me hands. I just sighed and went back in for a hug.
Then we heard and announcement that I had to board my plane. I immediately felt sadness come over me.
"You're going to miss your flight" Payton said still hugging me. "I don't want to leave" I pouted as I pulled out of the hug.
"Text me right when you get off your flight" Payton said with a slight smile. I could tell he was sad but wanted to stay strong for me. I gave him one last kiss and hug.
"Thank you for everything this summer" I said. "I love you" I finished. "I love you too angel" Payton said kissing the top of my head. "Alright but you seriously need to go" Payton said pulling out of the hug.
"Bye" I sighed and turned around. "Bye" I heard from behind me. I just kept walking towards my flight.
When I was about to board I turned around. Payton was still there. He was wiping a tear from his face. I could see his face was a tiny bit red.
I'm really going to miss that kid.
I sighed and boarded the plane.
When the plane took off I just laid my head back and put my AirPods in. I just watched the clouds go by. I was a little nervous to fly and I just wanted to squeeze Payton's hand.
I looked to the side of me and no one was there. I don't know why but I was hoping Payton was there.
I looked down at my ring. I felt my eyes start to tear up. I just looked back out the window.
Finally the plane landed. I grabbed my carry-on bags and headed off the plane. Once I was off I walked over to the place to get the rest of my bags.
I waited for about 3 minutes until I found it. I grabbed it and headed towards the exit.
I was walking towards it and saw my mom. A smile crept onto my face.
"Hey sweetheart" she said once she pulled me into a hug. "Hi mom" I said.
"I missed you so much" she smile once we pulled out of the hug. "I missed you too" I smiled. "Alrighty then let's go" she smiled.
I nodded and we made our way out to the car. I put my bags in the trunk and then got into the passenger seat.
