Payton's POV:
I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing, I quickly picked it up before it woke up Nova. "Hello?" I said because I didn't have time to look at who called me because I was focus on getting my phone to shut up.
"Hey payton it's Trent, I just wanted to let you know that tour is going to be in 4 days, so your going to have to fly out to LA in at max 3 days" Trent explained. (If you don't know Trent was the guy that was with the lights out tour last year idk if he's going to be doing it again this year but I'm just going to pretend that he is)
I didn't want to leave Nova though because tour is going to be taking a few week and I was only going to be staying here for a few weeks then I'm going to be going back to North Carolina, and won't be able to hang out with Nova anymore. Then I got an idea.
"Okay, um is it possible for me to bring a friend with me to go on tour?" I asked getting nervous he would say no. "Well who is it?" Trent questioned. "It's my best friend Nova, she isn't famous but I just got to see her again after 2 years and was going to stay with her longer but I forgot about tour." I explained hoping I could bring Nova with me.
"I suppose but she's going to have to stay backstage or in the hotel rooms while your at your events" he said. "Oh yeah that's fine" I said really happy that Nova could go on tour with me. "Alright I'm going to let you go now I have to go tell the others about when tour is bye" Trent said.
"Bye and thank you" I said as I hung up the phone. I decided to just go back to sleep since it was late already.
Skip the the next morning:
I slowly open my eyes adjusting to my surroundings and then just lay there for a minute. I reach over to my phone and scroll through Instagram for a bit until I remembered about tour so I decided to tell my story about tour.
I went to my story and tour and started recording. "Hey guy I just woke up not to long ago but I wanted to tell you guys that I am going to be going on tour so you should buy your tickets and come see me" I said grinning as I stopped recording and posted it on my story. After that I just continued scrolling through Instagram.
Nova's POV:
I woke up to the sound of Payton talking about going on tour but was to tired to do anything so I just stayed still. After the phone call he just started going on either tiktok or Instagram. After a bit I decided to let Payton know I'm awake.
So turned over and quickly smacked Payton's phone out of his hands. "Wait what the-" Payton started. "Morning!" I shouted. "I gotta go to the bathroom" I announced as I proceeded out of bed and into the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom Payton was oddly smiling ear to ear.
"Um, what did you do?" I asked worried. "Do you want you know now or in a few days?" Payton asked still smiling. "Well now that you told me I want to know now" I said kinda eager to know. "You know maybe not, I think I'll tell you another time" Payton said relaxing a little.
"Wait no tell me you can't just bring something up and not tell me about it" I wined. "Fine, I suppose I'll tell you" Payton said once again grinning.
"Okay so you know how I'm going on tour right?" Payton asked. I just nodded my head in confusion. "So that is going to be in a week, and I wanted to hang out with you so, I might've asked for you to come with me and, so now your going to be going on tour with me!" Payton said all in one breath.
"Hold up, so your going on tour, and I'm going to go with you?" I asked confused. "Yup" is all Payton said. "OMG WAIT REALLY!?" I screamed. "I swear" Payton said seriously. "Pinky thumb promise" I said while walking over to him and putting my hand up to do a pinkie thumb promise.
"Pinky thumb promise" Payton said linking his pinkie with mine and touching my thumb. A pinkie thumb promise is just something Payton and I made up when we were 6, and still to this day use it.
