I woke up from a measly sleep. I just slept for a good two hours and I could blame it all to the boys who messed up with my life last night. I wish I could stay longer in bed but I need to go to school. So I did get up from bed and got ready for school.

"Hey Mirae, are you okay?" Mina waved her hand in front of my face taking me out of trance.

"What?" I asked her.

"You seemed out of it. What's bugging you?" She asked out of concern.

"Nothing." I lied. I honestly can't tell my bestfriend because first, she might think I'm lying, second, I don't think Yoshinori and the rest of Treasure will appreciate it, and third, she may think that I'm crazy. "Just woke up on the wrong side of my bed."

She looked at me suspiciously but decided to let it pass. We continued to chat about anything. She ranted about how Math was the hardest thing to ever exist.

"They're really dreamy, aren't they?" She suddenly asked.

"Who?"

"Treasure." I immediately froze on the spot.

The crowd in the cafeteria started to become rowdy as the group of boys came in. They were not really trying their best to get everyone's attention, no, they were not trying at all. I swallowed the lump on my throat as I suddenly made eye contact with Yoshinori. His stare is too much so I turned away and looked at Mina who was busy admiring them.

In this school, Treasure is the most popular group. They are a group of insanely handsome boys, talented even. But rumor has it that some of them are snobbish and cold and that they have a bad record of rejecting confessions and breaking girls' hearts. They are also wealthy as hell. They make the bunch that you don't want to mess with. I mean, I kinda know that by now.

"Mirae." I heard someone speak behind me. Mina had her eyes wide open and was looking at me in surprise. Everyone started to whisper among each other. Without any choice, I turned around and saw Doyoung giving me a wide smile. Look at how innocent that smile is.

"D-Doyoung, what is it?" I stammered.

"Can we talk to you?" It was Hyunsuk, the leader of Treasure, who talked to me this time. "In private if that's fine."

Oh my God! Are they going to kill me? I hope not because I still have a lot of dreams for myself.

"S-sure." I nodded. "When do you want to talk?"

"Now, if you may." He replied. I gingerly stood from my seat and gave Mina a look. She nodded her head but I can see confusion on her face.

The Treasure boys started to walk so I followed them, staying behind by a good distance. I saw some girls glaring at me but that is not what I am scared for right now. I'm scared for my life.

We arrived at their hideout in the school. It is a place that only Treasure can go to. They all piled in the room while I followed behind. They all went to different spots, a lot of them so carefree that I figured out that this may not be the end of me just yet.

"You remembered what happened last night?" Jihoon asked. I tentatively nodded as a response.

"You should've not seen that, noona." Jaehyuk said with a sad look on his face.

"We can't do anything now." Yoshinori commented. "She was at the wrong place and wrong time."

"I won't speak." I bravely said. Some of the boys laughed, mainly the younger ones.

"We know you won't, noona." Jeongwoo replied. "You seem like the type to not get involved in any violent matters."

I don't know if I should be pleased or if I should get offended by what he said.

"But the thing is," Yedam spoke, "You unknowingly and unwillingly got yourself involved."

I gulped. "W-what?"

"Yoshinori saved you." Junkyu answered. "He killed for you. Do you know what that means for our opponents?"

"No?" I answered.

"That means you're important to Yoshinori." He answered back.

"What?" I asked dumbfounded. "That's not even real. He just saved me out of compassion. I'm in no way important to him. It's just coincidence!"

"They don't know that." Hyunsuk said. "All they know now is that Yoshi saved you and that you may be someone important to him."

"This doesn't make sense. He was just helping a fellow person!"

"Do you know Yoshinori?" Hyunsuk asked, a playful grin spread across his face. I looked over to the guy we are talking about but he was just concentrating on the Rubik's cube that he was playing.

"Yes." I replied. "He's a classmate."

"He's an assassin. Our ace." I flinched at that. What? Assassin who? Assassin what? I mean I saw him kill that man but assassin? Really?

"No way." I exclaimed to myself.

Suddenly, Yoshinori walked up to me. He put his hand behind his head and was smiling smugly. When he reached my place, the smile on his face faded and it turned into a grim.

"Lee Mirae, I am an assassin." He started. "I kill people without mercy. Even if they plead, I still end up killing them anyway. I don't hesitate ever."

"B-but last night..."

"Last night, I decided that maybe you still love your life so I kinda saved you but don't feel special, you were just lucky."

"I don't get what you're pointing at."

"Simple, doll" He tucked in a strand of my hair, "I saved you. Now, you're stuck by my side. Whether you like it or not."

"What?"

"They will be looking around for you, noona." Haruto and his deep voice startled me. He smile slightly. "They think that if they have you, Yoshinori will be weaker."

"But that's not the case."

"That's not what they know." Mashiho said.

"Noona, it will be a waste if you're going to argue. If you want to be safe, just follow us. We don't want you dead either." Junghwan spoke. My heart broke at his smile, he's just 14. Too young to be involved in all of this.

"So, what do you want me to do?" I said, finally giving in. I want to live so I have no choice but to follow them.

"Live with Yoshinori for the mean time."
