Yoshi's POV

Fear. For the first time in what seemed like forever, I felt this emotion. I am afraid. Not for myself but for the girl I love the most. I haven't been able to sleep for the past days. I felt guilty for leaving her alone in the parking lot. I shouldn't have left her alone especially since I knew for a fact that a lot of bad people are on our tails. I failed to protect her again. I failed to protect Mirae. I failed Yoonbin. I failed Mirae's mother. Also, I failed myself. How can I let this happen twice? How can I let her get abducted like that? I swore to myself that I would risk everything I have, even my own life, to protect her so why did I let it happen just like that? If anything bad happens to Mirae, I don't think I could forgive myself. Never.

"Kanemoto Yoshinori." I froze hearing my full name. Slowly, I turned around only to meet Hyunsuk hyung's serious face. It has been years since the last time that he called me by my full name and him calling my by that only means one thing. He's in no mood for games.

"Hyung." I softly called out to him in response. The air between us grew thicker as if any time we would both die of suffocation. The overflowing seriousness coupled with the deafening silence makes me shudder in nervousness. This is a different Hyunsuk that I am seeing right now. He has always been the lenient and laid back one between him and Jihoon. But at times like this, when he gets serious, he's deadly.

"Let's take them down." He said in a monotone but his eyes gave his emotions away. He's mad. His fist formed into a ball, his knuckles turning white. I let out a small smile. I'm feeling all sorts of emotions right now. Happy, excited.... but scared at the same time. Either way, all of these emotions boil down to one. We're gonna save Mirae.

"So, what do you suggest that we do? We all know that it would not lead us into anything good if we act recklessly. This isn't like any of our other operations where we can do anything we want to do and show up any time we want to. Someone's life depends on this. Scratch that, all our lives depend on this." Jihoon said.

"To put everything to perspective, they want me." I calmly said. "They're using Mirae as bait to get me. But that's it. They would not do anything to get anyone else involved. They won't hurt anyone. They only want me."

I sighed before continuing. "But that was before. I don't think they would hold back this time. Anyone who gets in their way, they would erase them. They're that desperate to get me."

"Wow, Lee Minhyung despised you so much huh? What did you really do to him in the first place?" Junkyu clicked his tongue, shifting his attention to me. I froze on my spot, unable to find the words to reply to him. "I can't remember clearly what started your feud with him, it's just one day we're on the streets fighting with his men at the crack of dawn."

"I don't think this is the right time for storytelling, Junkyu." Hyunsuk intervened. "Besides, if this is Yoshi's fight then it is our fight as well. After all, we swore to each other when we first started this group that we have each other's backs. We swore to protect and defend each other... even if it means losing our own lives."

"How about we also use Yoshi hyung as our bait?" Asahi broke the silence, then looked directly at me. We all shifted our attention to him. These past few days, Asahi has been awfully quiet not that he was talkative to begin with. This is probably the only time that he came forward to give his suggestion.

"What do you mean by that? How are you going to use me as bait?" I asked, extremely curious and bothered at the same time. There's something about Asahi that I could not pinpoint.

"Simple, you would act as if you're turning yourself in to save Mirae noona." He answered. "But the catch is, we will also be there lurking in the shadows waiting for the right time to blow off their heads."
