The voices of people shouting woke me up. I slowly opened my eyes and squinted a bit as I adjust to the brightness of the lights.

"What the hell happened?!" I'm pretty sure that was Hyunsuk who just yelled.

"We actually don't know!" Haruto answered. "We were just eating and then those men came and began shooting at us. We were too occupied by their number that Doyoung did not realize that he was being blindsided. That's when Mirae decided to jump out of her hiding spot and saved hyung."

I slowly sat up from my position to let them know that I'm awake. I was met by a couple of concerned looks. I saw Yoshinori at the side but he was just wearing a blank look. He doesn't seem like he cares at all. I expected him to care even just a small bit.

"Don't move, Mirae." Jaehyuk held my shoulders carefully and made me lie down again. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine." I lied. I feel horrible. It's like my arm is falling off.

"I'm sorry, Mirae." Doyoung said. I smiled apologetically.

"I'm good. As long as I'm alive, I think that's fine. Don't feel sorry about it, okay." I assured him.

"Mirae, I think it's not safe for you anymore to be roaming around on your own since you were seen with the kids." Jihoon said. "I think it would be better if you leave with any of us if ever you feel like going out."

I nodded my head. I know it will be for the better judging from what I saw this morning.

"How about school? I bet I'll be missing classes because of this, right?"

"Don't worry, Jaehyuk will take care of it." Hyunsuk said. "He's part of the student council anyway. He can work his way to excuse you from classes."

"I will take notes from class for you." Junkyu said. "So, don't worry about missing classes because we got it all covered."

I only nodded at them. My throat began to feel dry so I reached for the cup of water on the bedside. Jaehyuk was kind enough to get it for me. He also gave me a pill box which I assume contains the meds I need to take in.

"These are painkillers, Mirae." He said. There is something on the way he said painkillers that made me a bit suspicious but I quickly shrugged it off. They're the only persons whom I can trust right and I know they wouldn't harm me in any way. Except maybe for Yoshinori.

After I drank the medicine, they all bid goodbye. Hyunsuk told me to rest well and not to worry about anything. Doyoung gave me another apologetic smile before leaving with the rest of the boys.

I expected them all to get out of the room but the person I'm dreading to see the most remained.

"Aren't you leaving?" I asked him. I wish he would leave because his effect on me is too much. But instead, he took a sit on the edge of the bed.

"Nope." He answered. "This is my room, so why should I leave?"

I looked around and noticed that this isn't the room I'm staying at. It's all black and screams Yoshinori in here. But I must admit that it's neat and feels comfortable especially his king sized bed.

"I should stay on my room then." I told him, carefully sitting down again.

I heard him curse under his breath before laying me down again in bed. He glared at me and that was enough to make me stay in place.

"You're stubborn, aren't you?" He pulled the blanket over, making sure it was covering my body. "Jaehyuk told you to not move around but you sure weren't listening."

"You told me this is your room so I assumed you would want me to get out." I frowned. "And why am I even here? You could've brought me to my room instead."

"You're seriously too whiny." He deadpanned. "You're staying in my room until you fully recover. Mr. Kim is out of the country to deal with some businesses so no one will look after you in your room."

"W-where are you staying then?"

He smirked. "Still here, of course. Why? Does that make you uncomfortable?"

He inched closer, his face now a little too close for comfort. I watch him bite his lower lip as I gulp in nervousness. He then back away, laughing. He looks so cute while laughing. He doesn't look like the assassin that he is.

"N-no, you don't." I've been lying for God knows how many times since I met these boys. I should meet a priest and confess soon.

"Sure," He said, obviously not believing the lie that I just said. It's obvious that he's making me nervous. "Anyway, scoot a little farther."

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Why?"

"I'm going to sleep. I'm tired so move a little to side and let me sleep." He suddenly laid down on the bed. He's too close. I can feel the heavy beating of my heart. I can't breathe. Not when the man who's driving me crazy is this close to me. I was stuck on the other side of the bed while Yoshinori's probably fast asleep now. I couldn't bring myself to close my eyes. Just then, I felt the boy beside me inch closer and put his arm around my waist and snuggled his face on the crook of my neck. My breath hitched at the sudden action.

"Why are you still not sleeping?" His hoarse voice made the hair on my skin rise. "Sleep now, Mirae. You need to rest."

His voice wasn't the usual cold and icy one. It's soft and almost like a lullaby. There, sleep suddenly found me and brought me to dreamland.
