It's already 4 o'clock in the morning but Yoshinori hasn't returned yet. It has been almost eight hours since he left with Asahi. I tried calling his phone but he wasn't answering. I am becoming more and more anxious as time pass by. The feeling on the pit of my stomach isn't helping either. I don't know why but my intuitions are telling me that something bad is about to happen.

I kept pacing back and forth, ignoring the slight pain from the gunshot wound. I can't stay calm especially since my intuitions never failed me. I reached for the cup of water and took a sip. The coldness of it wasn't even enough to put out the fire burning inside of me.

I sat on the edge of the bed and started praying. I don't really pray that much but there's nothing wrong with trying. If the gods out there are listening, then I hope they heard my prayer. I just want the boys to be safe. I want them to come home unscathed.

After I finished my prayer, my phone started ringing. I picked it up with trembling hands. I don't feel good about this.

I looked at the caller ID. Yoshinori. I answered it immediately when I saw his name.

"H-hey," I stuttered. I couldn't keep the nervousness I am feeling to myself.

"Mirae, you're still at my room, right? Quickly lock the door on my room. Do not go out." He began telling me. "You know the jade vase inside my room right?" I directed my gaze to the vase he mentioned. It's on the wooden table beside the bed. It is the vase that I kept on admiring because of its beauty. I've never seen such beautiful vase in my entire life.

"What do I do with it?" I asked, puzzled by the mention of that particular vase.

"Lift it." He said. I couldn't help but wonder how calm he still is. I know something wrong is happening or about to happen but he remains calm, confident even. It's like he's not fazed by anything. It's as if this is a usual thing for him.

I quickly ran for the door and locked it before lifting up the vase. To my surprise, a hidden door opened. Of course, they are in a gang.

"You already saw the door, right?" I nodded my head in response although I know he wouldn't see it. "Go inside the room. When you're inside, there's another vase, a gold one. Push it to the side, and the door will be hidden once again."

I did what he told me. It was dark inside the room so I looked for the light switch. When the lights opened, I saw the entirety of the room. It's bright and it's so different from Yoshinori's main room. This room is filled with toys and pictures. I wanna look around but I don't think that is the best thing to do at this moment. So I quickly did what Yoshinori told me to do. I pushed the vase to the side.

"Mirae, did you do it already?" He asked.

"Yes," I answered. "But what do I do now?"

"Wait." He replied. I was confused. What does he mean? Wait for what? Stay here and wait for any bad thing to unfold?

"Wait? What do you mean wait? Tell me exactly what is happening right now!" I half-yelled. I don't like being left in the dark especially with matters like this. Things that concern my life and the lives of the people I care for.

"Mirae, they're coming." I was frozen on the spot. I began to feel anxious and nervous again. With trembling hands, I fell down to the floor. Tears began coming out of my eyes. For the first time since I met Yoshinori and the boys, I felt so scared. I don't even know the full context of what is happening but the way he said that they're coming was enough to bring fear into my system. Who the hell are coming?

"Yoshinori," I hiccuped. "I-I am scared."

"Doll, don't be scared. We're coming. Stay there as quiet as possible. No one can hurt you." I found myself nodding at his words. "Trust me because I would kill and die for the people I treasure."
