Hell. An unforgiving labyrinth of pain and suffering. Nine layers separate the worst of the worst as they spend eternity in infinite torment.

The lowest of the nine layers was treachery. The worst scum on Earth were dropped here to roam the icy plains for eternity.

The demons here acted as wardens for the damned and they were the most barbaric and brutal torturers in the demon realm.

However, kept high above the rest with the biting cold eating away at his bruised and scarred chest, the primordial force of evil was bound to a wall of ice and stone with wrought iron chains that clattered with his every movement.

In the distance, he saw a flying demon drop an unfortunate soul onto a pike made of ice. He chuckled as the rusted chains rattled around his arms. His long hair was in a mess while his amber eyes burned against the frozen backdrop of treachery.

???: "*sigh*... I wonder how they're doing."

As the man wondered to himself. His eyes turned toward the ceiling of his unbearably cold prison as he let out a disappointed sigh. As he closed his eyes to take another nap, he felt a presence near him. One that he hadn't felt in many years by this point.

A shadow loomed over him as his eyes opened again to meet the cold grey orbs of his guest.

???2: "Found you. Those shitboots certainly hid ya well enough."

The man looked up at the being that had landed in front of him. Long white hair contrasted with the nine pairs of black feathered wings protruding from his back.

???: "Ah, how ya been, cunt fuckula?"

???2: "Well. At least, as well as I could be when Kokabiel's constantly whining for a fight."

???: "Heh. Why don't ya send him down here? See how he handles the primordial evil."

The men chuckled as a biting cold swept through the valley. The man in chains looked at his skin and saw the scratches and demon markings painting his flesh like he was their personal canvas.

???2: "Look at you, brother. You look like boiled shit."

???: "You're one to talk. ya look like you've lead a life of being blueballed."

The white haired man laughed before kneeling in front of the other man. he then plunged his hand into the ice and ripped the chains off of his old friend.

The snapping sound reverberated throughout the entirety of the underworld.

The prisoner stood to his full height. Towering over his friend, twelve pairs of wings then burst out of his back.

???: "Ah... Feels good to be out. Now then. I got a wife to go calm down. Remind me to pick up milk on my way to meet her."

???2: "She's the least of your worries, old friend. You've also got a kid to deal with."

???: "His mother made sure he was safe. As much as I'd like to see him again. I don't know where he is."

???2: "Oh really? Then it may interest you to know that Gadreel met up with Allia recently. Guess who was with her."

The former prisoner froze in his place before slowly turning to face his friend.

???: "... He's come home?"

???2: "Rias Gremory's taken him in as a devil under her household."

The former prisoner sighed in relief. He then looked up at the ceiling of treachery.

???: "Well. Shouldn't keep 'em waiting. Let's go, Bartzabel."

Bartzabel: "Race you to the top, Samael."
