In the weeks after Issei's death, Y/n slowly returned to a semi-normal state of mind. Sona and Rias were both there for him as well as his parents. Though Sona dropped the bomb on him that since he had beaten her at chess, she was now engaged to him. But that was then, it was spring now and the weather gradually began to change from cold to warm.
However, as Y/n sat on his windowsill, he felt the already cool breeze turn even colder as the sound of heels clicking caught his attention. Looking down, he saw Kresus smirking up at him.
He sighed before dropping down from his window and began to walk next to his aunt.
Y/n: "The hell are you doing here, Kresus?"
Kresus: "I just wanted to check on my nephew. Is that so wrong?"
Y/n's glare told Kresus that he wasn't in the mood for her games.
Kresus: "Listen, kid. So your brother died. You gotta become stronger so you don't lose anyone else."
Y/n: "... It was you. You awakened my antichrist form."
Kresus: "Mhm! That's right. You needed something to push your power further than ever. Trinity alone is never going to prepare you for the horrors of the supernatural world."
Nerolyth: "Perhaps that is true. However we would never allow Y/n to go off the deep end like that!"
Kresus: "Haha! You act like it wasn't you who wiped out more humans than the angels and devils combined, Nerolyth."
Y/n could sense Nerolyth's mounting fury as Kresus spoke.
Y/n: "I'm not in any mood for this, Kresus. If you've said what you need to, then I'll be leaving."
Kresus' smile dropped before a veil of black mist surrounded the two. Y/n turned and his wings emerged, coating the area in a warm golden glow. Kresus laughed lightly as Y/n's glare hardened.
Kresus: "If you won't listen to me normally, then I'll have to show you. Allia can't be allowed to manipulate you the way she was manipulated."
Y/n's interest was piqued, however he wouldn't allow Kresus' words to seduce him into lowering his guard. He leaped forwards only to be struck in the stomach by the black mist as it formed a pillar below him, another three pillars formed around him before simultaneously slamming into him and knocking the wind out of him. He fell to one knee as his regeneration kicked in.
Kresus then picked him up by the throat and pulled his face close to hers.
Kresus: "You listen to me, boy. Allia will inevitably betray you. She will try and make you become what she was raised to be."
Y/n struggled under Kresus' grip until a crimson flame slammed into Kresus' face. She hissed as she looked back up while Samael and Alastor walked over, the latter was twirling his cane around his arm while the former glared with intense fury at Kresus.
Samael: "You will not touch him again, Kresus."
Kresus: "Tch, Samael. I see your punches still sting quite a bit."
Alastor: "Bitch, you know you enjoy it."
Kresus: "Charming, Ally."
Alastor: "Call me that again and I'll level this street."
Samael held his arm out, blocking the crimson demon of wrath from attacking.
Samael: "Y/n. C'mere."
Y/n complied and walked to his father as he caught his breath after being caught in Kresus' grip.
Kresus: "So what? You just gonna allow Y/n to take Allia's place in that damn shrine!?"
