Y/n spent his morning as he usually did. Dragging Issei out of bed for training, getting breakfast ready, then getting ready for school.

However something felt off. Usually Rias would reply instantly when he texted her in the mornings, however she hadn't today.

Issei: "You okay, Y/n?"

Y/n: "Rias hasn't responded. It's not like her."

Issei: "Maybe her phone's just outta charge."

Y/n: "True. She probably forgot to leave it to charge last night."

He and Issei were about halfway to school when a familiar redhead appeared.

Alastor: "Ah, it's you two."

Y/n: "Alastor."

Issei: "Ain't that the really fuckin' violent guy that Samael dealt with?"

Alastor: "Mhm. That's me. I realise we never really got a chance to talk yesterday."

Alastor then walked with them on their way to school.

Y/n: "Huh?"

Alastor: "Allia and Samael have been avoiding the subject on account of some underworld shit that's goin' on. It involves your little girlfriend."

Alastor: "Rias Gremory's parents have her in an arranged marriage. Riser Phenex is the guy who they've arranged for her to marry."

Y/n looked down as he remembered what Rias had told him.

Issei: "Rias told us before, but there's surely gotta be a way to get her out of it, right?"

Alastor: "Yup! Give the perv a medal!"

Alastor chuckled before he saw Y/n's expression.

Alastor: "There's two, maybe three, ways to get her outta the marriage."

Y/n: "What are they?"

Alastor: "First one's easy. You gotta do the dirty with your girl."

Y/n: "Huh. That all?"

Alastor: "Yup! There's also the options of a Rating game for her hand or a duel to the death."

Y/n: "I'll talk to her about the first option."

Y/n: "Speaking of which. Were you always a demon?"

Alastor: "Nope! I was originally an angel. Every devil family started as an angel. But when Samael rebelled against god, about a thousand angels went with him. We became the first devils."

Issei: "Huh, what about the first fallen?"

Alastor: "Ah, big man Bellial was the first fallen angel. Gadreel and Bartzabel weren't too far behind mind you. Difference is Bartzabel fell for declaring God a hypocrite. Gadreel fell by asking God to make him fall."

Issei: "Why would he do that?"

Alastor: "God was kind of a deadbeat dad. Gadreel wanted those who'd fallen to have a father figure that they could actually look up to, so he became that father figure. Sappy cock monarch."
