𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 {𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐥 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐦}

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟒

"So how did everything go with your mom?" Sweet Pea asked as we were laying down new flooring in my trailer. "Not like I had planned at all. I kind of went off on everything I had been holding in for so long. Stuff Veronica didn't even know about her dad. In a way, I feel bad for having our little reunion end like that it felt good to get all that stuff off my chest." 

Sweet Pea knew everything I went through with Hiram and it was safe to say he hated him probably more than I did. As bad as it sounds the day I found out he was killed in prison we celebrated by getting shit-faced drunk at The Wyrm it was like the scene in Wizard of Oz when the wicked witch of the west died. But in that instance, it was like the wicked dick head bitch was dead.

I'd definitely never admit that to my mom or Veronica but my friends had my back through it all and they knew just how horrible Hiram was to me. "You're coming with us to the back to school bonfire tonight right?" Sweet Pea asked I shrugged "I guess if you guys are I will." I was honestly a little nervous about going back to school this would be the first time I went to school with my friends since middle school. The first time I would be going to school with my sister ever. And I was going to be the new kid in my final year of school.

Sweet Pea and I finished putting down the remaining flooring in and I definitely felt accomplished. Everything was looking great and would for sure be done by the time school started in a little over a week. My bedroom and the master bathroom were already done, so all that was really left was finishing up the kitchen and a few small things here and there.

It was getting late and since we had the bonfire to go to Sweet Pea left so he could get ready at his place and then we would meet up with Fangs and Toni later on.

I was sweaty and sore so a shower was a definite must. I connected my phone to the Bluetooth speakers that I had recently installed throughout my trailer and let my favorite playlist blast through my bathroom. I started the shower and let it get to the right temperature before I undressed and got in.

I let the hot water soothe my now aching bones for a while and then I shaved, washed my hair with my favorite coconut scented shampoo and then deep conditioned my hair with my favorite mango scented conditioner. I washed my body with my coconut and mango body wash several times before I rinsed everything off.

I got out and dried myself off before I moisturized my face and then put on some lotion and deodorant. I walked into my closet to look for an outfit once I found something I liked I put on a sports bra and matching briefs before I went into the bathroom to start blowdrying my hair so I could curl it a little bit and put on some makeup. Just because I have a penis doesn't mean I don't like looking my best at all times.

About thirty minutes later I was satisfied with how I looked. I went back into my room and got dressed in a simple yet stylish outfit. 

 I put on my favorite mix of perfume and cologne, grabbed my wallet and sent a text to Sweet Pea letting him know I was about to be on my way for him. I grabbed my keys and locked up the house. Since we would be going up to Sweetwater River we decided just to take my jeep instead of our bikes. I picked up Sweet Pea and swung by the Wyrm to get Fangs and Toni along with some liquor before we made our way to our final destination.

When we got to the river cars were all over the place it was dark now but you could see the huge flame of the bonfire in the distance along with music and a bunch of chattering coming from everyone surrounding it. The boys grabbed the case of beer from the trunk while Toni and I grabbed a bottle of Jack Fire each.

"You think Veronica is here?" Toni asked me as we followed behind Sweet Pea and Fangs. "If Jughead's girlfriend is here probably aren't they best friends or something like that?" Toni nodded "yeah they are, I'm not the biggest fan of Betty she loves to pry into people's business and you know we don't like that. Always be careful about what you say about her if you don't want the whole fucking town to know about it." I couldn't help but laugh "I'll remember that for sure."

Toni intwined our arms together and smiled wide "you seriously don't understand how happy I am that you're back home for good. I missed you like crazy when you were in Vegas." I kissed her head "I'm glad to be back home to all bullshit with my mom aside I missed Riverdale. But I definitely missed you guys more."

Once we get to where all the action is happening I take in the sights of all these new people around me. We walk over to a smaller group of people that are standing around in a semi-circle once we got closer to them I could see a blunt being passed between them. I was introduced to them not that I really had it in mind to remember any of their names after tonight.

We began drinking and even passed around a few blunts that Fangs had brought with him. It was the perfect summer night I was with the three people I loved most having a great time. A few blunts and a few beers later I thought I heard someone calling my name. I looked around the darkened area and seen four people walking towards me. Jughead, a blonde girl I have never seen before but guessed it was his girlfriend from how he was holding onto her, Veronica and Archie.

"Oh my god! You're back home?" Jughead said as he engulfed me in a hug I chuckled "yeah have been for a little while now haven't seen you around running around the Northside now?" I replied.

He scratched the back of his neck "uh yeah I guess you could kind of say that. This is my girlfriend Betty. Betty this is Mariah basically my cousin with how close our dads are. And she's Veronica's older sister."

Betty stuck her hand out to shake so I met her the rest of the way. "Nice to meet you," I said with a small smile on my face. She smiled back "nice to meet you too." She replied. She looked at Veronica and shook her head "V you never told me you had a sister." Veronica's eyes widened instantly when Betty said that to her.

I know it shouldn't have hurt me but it honestly did. They had been living in Riverdale for almost two years at this point and never during that time was I brought up to her group of friends. Veronica looked at me with guilt all over her face I scoffed and shook my head.

Jughead and the boys talked for a while I honestly was over listening to their conversation so Toni and I just stood around dancing and singing along with the music. When suddenly something caught my eye.

Red hair, those perfectly plump lips, a megawatt smile. She was with Reggie dancing. We made eye contact and never broke it until Reggie cupped her face and placed a quick peck on her lips. Seeing that honestly made my stomach churn. I haven't even said one word to the girl and she made me feel things I have never felt before all from a simple look.

Just one look at Cheryl and everything I had been feeling vanished instantly. I'm definitely ready to start school now more than ever.
