𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 {𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐥 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐦}

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟑

It was still hard to believe that Mariah and I were in such a good place it was something I never really experienced before she treated me like an absolute Queen along with my Nana and I truly believe that's what made me love her even more. She had the biggest heart and I couldn't be any more grateful for all she's done for us both. She had no problem jumping in and getting her hands dirty with the small things around the house that needed to be done to make sure Nana was as comfortable as possible. She completely redid Nana's bathroom so it would be easier for us or her nurse to bathe her, she made a ramp so we could take her outside and push her around to get some fresh air and she even moved around the entire living room so that it was easier for Nana to navigate her way around.

I could honestly say I was madly in love with Mariah and the night we actually expressed that to each other was one of the greatest nights of my life. Because I truly didn't think I would ever have that with someone. It was just easy with Mariah our relationship was easy we got along amazingly and very rarely ever argued. But the one downside to everything was Veronica I still didn't understand why she acted like such an asshole with her sister and I was determined to find out. Mariah said she would be busy with some Serpent stuff today so I figured I'd have a girls day with Veronica and try to get to the bottom of things.

Mariah said it didn't really bother her much but I knew her better than that already and I could see deep down it bothered her a lot that her mom and sister hadn't made any other effort to spend time with her or even talk to her since she moved back to Riverdale.

I had texted Veronica last night and asked if she wanted to hang out today and she almost immediately replied that she did. We made plans to meet for lunch first and then go to the mall to do a little retail therapy where I planned on buying Mariah some gifts just for simply being an amazing girlfriend. I was on my way to Gaetano's to meet Veronica for lunch now. I know some might say I'm overstepping boundaries of some sort by really doing this to talk to her about her relationship with Mariah but she was my girlfriend and if something affected her negatively I was gonna do whatever it took to fix it.

After a short drive, I pulled up to the restaurant I parked my car sent a quick text to Mariah I got to my destination safely and I loved her and put my phone in my purse. I walked into the restaurant and told them I was meeting someone here and the hostess led me to the booth where Veronica was already waiting for me.

"I hope you weren't waiting long, I said as I slid into the booth Veronica shook her head "I've only been here like five minutes" I grabbed the menu and began looking at what I was in the mood to order "so what have you been up to lately? We haven't seen much of you after school or during school for that matter." Veronica said as she looked up from her menu she was getting right to it I see. "I've just been busy with my Nana and I have other stuff I need to focus on right now too," I replied keeping most things vague I didn't want to bring up Mariah right away.
