Evangeline's POV
I saw a boy in my vision, around the age of 18 or so, he had black hair and blue eyes like the clear sky after the storm. He was talking to me, I do not know how or where I met him and who he is, I just saw him speaking to me with a smile plastered on his face but then it turned dark; I was on a bridge looking down at the river and then everything vanished, poof all gone.
Thomas's POV
Today was just another day like any other, I would wake up in the morning and stare at the blue sky outside my window wishing something different would happen. I made a veggie sandwich drank milk like always and switched on the television, "looks like it's that time of the year", the rainy season is the only season I love and enjoy because of its dual personality when it starts pouring everything becomes cold and dull but for some reason, the trees and flowers seem brighter than ever, the soil even gives off this amazing scent 'petrichor' and after the rain lets up everything seems so clean and clear like the rain just took away all the bad things with it. It even makes me feel like I have been given nature's energy, so pure, unlike in the summers nature takes away my energy, so hot, ugh... Anyways, I am Thomas Ashton, 20 years old and I just started working at Kodansha, a Japanese animation company, why? because when I started watching anime like 'Sword Art Online', 'Fairytail', 'Free' ohh and 'Kimi no Nawa' I felt like that was my reality and it changed my perspective of the world too, helped me understand so many things, feelings, friendships, and dreams.
Author's POV
Thomas got his umbrella and started walking towards the subway, as usual, when it's the rainy season he got off two stations before his station and went through the public garden where he admired the trees, took in the smell of wet soil and all the energy nature could give him, and then with a big smile of satisfaction he walked down the sakura road. As he continued to the road crossing, he waited for his signal and then once it became green he started walking, although *car tires screech* *crash*. A speeding car couldn't slow down in time and hit Thomas; after some time the ambulance and media started surrounding the site even the company's employees.
Thomas POV
What happened? I heard ambulance sirens, I saw people looking at me through my blurry vision, did I get in a car accident? Is this the end? I opened my eyes and I saw the doctor looking at me "How do you feel?" he asked me, I looked around and saw my body covered in bandages from my neck to toe; "You are fortunate, even with your many broken bones and bleeding you will make it" he said with a gentle smile and I smiled back and thanked him. He left the room and I looked out the window while lying on the bed, 'Mann what a waste', it was still raining and I was here on a hospital bed, at least the day wasn't like any other now, I chuckled and then I decided to get some rest.
I woke up and it was already night, I looked at the sky again and saw a shooting star I closed my eyes and made a wish when I opened my eyes I saw a bright white light coming from the room's door, I got up wore slippers and opened the door. I saw something like a wisp, I decided to follow it; I kept on following until I came to a bridge over a river and I saw the little light becoming a girl or a fairy or angel because she was glowing but I knew that it was just fantasy. She climbed on the edge of the bridge, I quickly reacted as I knew what she was about to do, commit suicide, I couldn't just stand by and let her. I ran as fast as I could and reached out my hand to grab her but I missed and she fell into the river, nooo! I took off my slippers and climbed onto the edge to pull her out but just as I was about to jump, I saw the light again getting dimmer and dimmer, confusion and curiosity filled me and so, I chose to jump and follow the light even though I know 'curiosity killed the cat'.
Authors POV
And just like that, there was a big splash and both of them started disappearing, engulfed by the navy blue colour of the river. Little did he know he too was glowing and that his body was still on the hospital bed; a cold breeze created small waves on the river's surface as stars filled the night sky.
