It was a little lonely being without you right now, but it led Nagito to remember the days back when everyone could be happy, and no matter what, you always gave your all to help. Even now it was that way, but he couldn't help feeling guilty for making you upset. Knowing you, you'd forgive him when he came back, but he'd feel even worse for not deserving it. Now that he was on his way back, he wanted to make it up to you somehow. Like when you made him feel better about things when he was upset! Thinking back on it now, he could only remember one time when you'd ever made him even the slightest bit upset. It was for selfish reasons though, and it hadn't really been your fault... It was jealousy-

That fun day of gaming was getting pretty awkward... But only because Hajime made it that way. To you he was adorably nervous, and you could tell he was feeling a little out of place.

"Hey Hajime, you should actually play a game! They're pretty fun you know, and Chiaki would be really happy!" You joked.

"Ah... Yeah... I still don't think I'm supposed to be here..." He chuckled nervously, a repeating occurrence from him at the moment. Thankfully, he finally got up this time. You didn't want to push him too much, after all. Apparently, most reserve students got bullied just for being friends and interacting with the main course. So it wasn't just the easiest thing to do just interacting with each other even. Nagito knew this, but you hadn't at the time, Chiaki even warned you to walk with Hajime to your class so he wouldn't get in trouble while she set up the games. Not something you expected, so the severity of the situation must've been worse than what you were thinking.

"(Y/n), I take it you're coming to the festival right?" Nagito moved into the chair next to you. The blinds were closed, the lights were off and the room was dark, but you could easily tell it was him by his voice and the light from the game illuminating his face. "Of course! You are too right?" You tore your eyes away from the others playing the game to look at him. His pale face was made even paler by the bright light from the screen. He looked a deathly white, and it was almost like he was dead somehow, or not real. "Yeah, we all get to wear our yukatas right? I bet you'll look great in yours, though I feel like that level of luck may be too much for me... Maybe I'll fall ill again...?" He chuckled, hoping you wouldn't see the red blush that spread across his face. You chuckled back, blushing lightly too. He seemed to have a way of flattering you without knowing it, it was like he was a natural, flirting without really trying to at all. "I know you'll look great in yours too!" Your payback was making him blush even harder with your words sounding as sure and sharp as bullets! "Anyways... I hope Hajime will join us... He's so nervous about being around us, maybe he's going through something..." You looked over to the boy. He was playing Super Smash Dudes with a couple of your other friends including Chiaki. They were warming up for the tournament match, and she was teaching him some moves. Despite the carefree mood of the room, he still looked very tense.

"Personally, I don't think it matters if he goes or not, but since you Ultimates are ok with it..." You flashed him a quick look. "W-wait. What do you mean by that?" You took it as a joke for a second, but you didn't get it at all. "Ah. I just mean, since he isn't an Ultimate, it doesn't exactly matter if he goes with you guys or not. He may not be of much help after all, he's just an ordinary reserve course student."

Silent, you were just... silent. It was a good thing the fun happening around you both had been able to drown out Nagito's words. You seemed especially glad that Hajime hadn't heard, and of course, you looked deeply disappointed in Nagito. You wondered how he could think something like that. What did he have against reserve course students? Nagito treated himself like he had no talent, so it was assumed that he'd bond with Hajime the most when given the chance. You looked so confused now, and Nagito could see this, though he couldn't place why.
