Encounters with other creatures.

As I have stated previously, I have indeed interacted with other creatures which would be considered "abnormal", "paranormal" or even "mythical." Keep in mind these may not be in any particular order.

The very first encounter began at the tender age of 6. I had my first sleep paralysis. Now many would not consider this paranormal, however there was.. Something odd about it. I do not recall very well, but I heard something. A voice, a shadow at the corner of my eye. I was not thinking of such creatures; I did not even have knowledge of sleep paralysis. Yet I saw and heard unexplainable things. Once I was able to move again, I rushed towards my parents and hastily told them of the events that had occurred. This was the first time I heard of sleep paralysis.

The next encounter was of a shadow child. Or a spirit. Whichever one would call it. I sat idly in the car when I saw a child engulfed in shadows peeking at me from behind some trees. The car began moving around the same time the child began running to the other tree, of which it disappeared completely. And by that I mean there was no trace of it left whatsoever. No, it was not hiding behind the tree. I looked there thoroughly. Nothing

I heard of fairies around 12 or 13. Now there was a particular book which claimed to be speaking about true fairies, or the fae. They were categorized into several groups, of which many were aggressive. It encouraged one to make friends with fairies by offering them food and small pieces of clothing created from leaves and the such. I was a curious child, and so grabbed a nut shell (apparently garden fairies were tiny) and put some food into it. Just some fruits. The next morning I went to check on it, and behold! The nut shell was empty, but hadn't moved spots (this was how I knew it hasn't just been an animal, because they would nudge the shell a bit.) So, I continued this routine for a few nights, until one evening the shell was not emptied. I waited another day, and woke up to the shell completely crushed. What this meant, I had no clue; perhaps the fairies had gotten enough sacrifice in order to form a bond? Whatever it had been, I never saw nor heard of those fairies again.

Now spirits are certainly the topic of attention often times; they possess objects and people and wreak havoc. But truly, that is simply a stereotype. Most spirits are calm and kindred individuals. I attempted communication one evening, using a spirit box. One spirit said my name so clearly, it gave me goosebumps. I asked them how long they had been dead, and again was provided with a clear answer: 7 years. Then I continued with more personal questions, such as who Slenderman was and whether he existed. That was when they all began panicking at once; "Run! (Real name) Run!" And, "Danger, dark! Hide!" One even repeated Slenderman back to me, to which I almost disconnected the device. I bid them goodbye immediately, as I was a bit spooked, and turned off the spirit box. Another time, I repeated this procedure in another location. I asked about Slenderman again, but this time when the spirits went to answer, a murder of crows rushed forward onto the ground and into the sky, to which they all landed near the car I sat in and stared. Unsettled, I asked the spirits why there were crows and if they were connected to Him in any shape or form. The spirits began panicking again and warned me to run over and over, calling my name and screaming danger. I never used the spirit box again.

Another time, I had gone over to my Aunts' house to sleep over (I was quite young; possibly 7 or 8.) When I fell asleep, I had sleep paralysis. I was to my side, and so could only view the lower section of the doorway. A shadow of a man walked in, whose legs stepped towards us (My cousin, aunt and I slept in the same room) I fell asleep again and did not get to see what the man did. Later on, my aunt explained that they actually had experiences with this creature, and that their house was quite haunted. I did not sleep the next night.

Now when I was considerably older, I went to doze off on the sofa when I felt a hand run over my waist. It was ticklish, and I sprang up immediately after. There was nothing there. My parents had gone to sleep, and there was no one else in the house.

I saw Slender man directly once. I kid you not. I sat on a rock nearby a lake, which just happened to have a forest beside it. I looked up for a moment to gaze at the trees and froze. Oh, he was giant. As tall as the pine trees. And he just stared, unmoving. His face was completely featureless. And his figure black and thin. I quivered on the rock, unable to look away as if a deer caught in headlights. When I was finally able to, I got up quickly and looked again. Gone. Disappeared.

I attempted the hide and seek alone game, which is essentially a satanic ritual designed to be harmful. I did this with two other friends; V and S. You were to get a stuffed animal and take out the stuffing, filling it with rice instead. You'd stitch it back up and set it down somewhere, then rush to go hide. We screamed as we ran, terrified; however nothing happened. Once they left, I threw it into the closet and closed the door. The next day. The very next day it wasn't there anymore. I searched the entirety of our home, yet no sign of the stuffed animal. That is what made me quit attempting such things again.

There were many more encounters, however listing them all would take all night. So I have simply listed the most significant ones, and the ones that I recall the most.
