~Chapter Five~

(3rd April, 2011)

"Eomma, do I look good?" I asked.

"You look gorgeous, Y/N!"

"Should I wear the flower crown he made me?"

"Your choice, sweetie."

I sighed before putting on the flower crown Seonghwa made me when I first met him.

It's his 13th birthday today.

Wow, we're already becoming teens...?

Anyways, I got the present I bought for him (Sangie and Eomma helped me to buy it too) in a bag before hugging Eomma and heading to Joongie's house.

"Ready to go?" I asked.

"Totally, let's go!" He said as Mingi appeared behind him.

"Oh hi Mingi!" I waved.

"Hi Noona! You look pretty!" Mingi smiled, making his eyes go into crescents.

"Thanks Mingi, you both look great!" I gave them a thumbs up.

"What gift did you buy for Hwa?" Joong asked me.

"You'll see when he opens it, of course..." I playfully winked at him.

"Alright, let's go!" Mingi said as we went to Hwa's house.

"Oh! It's Mingi, Hongjoong and Y/N!" Uncle Sunhwa opened the door and smiled.

"Yay! You guys are finally here!!" Sannie got up from his seat on  the floor and ran  towards us.

"I'll put the presents on the table." Seongie said as he took the presents and put them on the table.

"Happy birthday, Seongie!" I said.

"Thanks!"

"Since everyone is here, shouldn't we play a game?"
Jongho asked.

"Like what? Whoever breaks the most apples is the winner?" Yeosang retorted.

"Never! Let's play pass the pillow!!" Wooyoung shouted.

"Pass the pillow? What will the winner get?" I asked.

"I don't know..." Wooyoung pouted.

"Let's play musical chairs then!!" Yunho said.

"Yeah, either you or Mingi will be the winner since you two are getting so tall..." Joong sighed.

"Then what should we do...?" Hwa asked.

"No idea..." Mingi said.

"Musical statues...?" Yunho requested.

"Yeah, now that's more like it!!" Sannie smiled.

So, we played 6 rounds of musical statues. I won once, Hwa one twice and Sangie won 3 times or thrice...

Then it was time for the cake!!

Aunt and Uncle came in with the cake as we all sang Happy Birthday.

"Happy Birthday to you Dear Seonghwa, Happy birthday to you~!!"

Then Seonghwa blew out his 13 candles as we all clapped.

Aunt Cho helped him cut a slice of the cake. Then he started feeding everyone.

First he fed his parents, then Sangie took a small bite, Yunho took a big one, Joong, Sannie and Jongho took small bites while MinMin and Woo took large ones as well, and last but not least, I took a bite then Seonghwa finished the slice of cake.

"Mm, delicious!!" Woo said as he licked the cream from the corners of his mouth.

"Now sit down kids, you'll be eating kimchi!!" Aunt Cho said.

"Yay! Kimchi!" MinMin, Woo, Sannie and Yunho cheered.

After eating, it was time to open Hwa's presents.

"Open my one first, hyung!!" Sannie said.

"Ok, Sannie!"

"Hey! I helped you to buy it, Sannie!!" Woo pouted.

"Sorry Wooyoungie!!" 

"We all bought your gifts in pairs..." Sangie stated.

"Ok! Thanks for the flower crowns, you two!" Hwa said as he attempted to put all of them on at once.

There were like, 5 or 6 of them.

"Aish, put only one, Hwa!" I giggled.

"Ok, this one looks good." He put a flower crown with daisies on it since it matched with his white and yellow outfit.

"Open the next one, hyung!" Yunho said.

"Ok, I'll open the one you and Jongho gave me!" He said as he ripped open the present which was a drawing notepad and some colouring pencils along with an art set.

"Noona told us that you really like drawing or just doodling these days, so...." Jongho said.

"Wow, thanks, you two! And thanks N/N for telling them!" He smiled as he looked at the art set.

"You're welcome!"

"Open our one, Hwa!" Joongie said.

"You and MinMin bought this?" Hwa asked.

"Yup! We heard you like poetry these days, too!" MinMin said.

"Thank you!" Seongie said as he looked at the set of poetry books in his lap.

"And last but not least, our gift." I smiled as I pointed to Sangie and myself.

"A friendship bracelet making kit...?" Woo said as he read the box.

"Yeah, I have something to say, guys..." I said as I took a deep breath.

"What is it, Noona?" Jongho asked.

"I'm moving to Busan in a few weeks. Appa's workplace has been transferred there..." I sighed.

"S-So that means you're leaving us Noona??" Yunho looked at me with sad puppy eyes.

"Uhm, yeah. But I promise to call you guys! I'll be able to talk to you like that!!" I smiled.

"But still, Noona. We'll miss you..." Sangie pouted.

"Hey, it's not like I'm leaving forever..." I smiled.

"Wait, you're not leaving forever??" Joongie asked.

"No! Appa has to work in Busan for a few years only!" I chuckled.

"Years??" Seongie asked.

"Yeah, but we'll still be friends, right?" I asked.

"Of course, Noona!" MinMin and Woo said.

"I have an idea! Let's make friendship bracelets with this kit! It'll be an sign of our friendship!!" I smiled.

"Great idea, Noona!!" Sannie said as Seongie started opening the box and there were some colourful strings and a weird white cardboard thing.

"How are we supposed to make friendship bracelets with these?!?!" Woo exclaimed.

"Wait, I know!" Jongho said as he got one of those cardboards and started making a bracelet by braiding it, somehow.

"How'd you do that, Jongho??" MinMin asked as we all went closer to the maknae.

"Like this."

So that night, we spent almost 2 hours on making those friendship bracelets...

The bracelets were really colourful and we even had matching ones! We all had our names on them! Mine, Seongie's and Joongie's ones were blue and black, Sannie and MinMin's ones were black and white, Woo and Sangie's ones were red and blue, and Jongho and Yunho's ones were blue and white. 

"Finished!!" We all cheered as we held our fists in the air.
