~Chapter Nineteen~

(3rd May, 2017)

<Seonghwa's POV>

I woke up at the sound of my alarm going off and  stretched amazingly because you all know how amazing I am...

Anyways, I checked my phone for the time and date.

3rd May, huh?

It's been a month since I've turned 19.

Only a month...

Wait, isn't N/N exactly a month younger than me?!

I rubbed my eyes and checked my phone again. There was a reminder: N/N's birthday.

I smiled before turning on my other side.

"Happy bir-" I said but I was surprised that N/N wasn't there.

She didn't leave for Starbucks without me, did she??

I got up and ran downstairs. I looked for N/N but all I found was an amazing smell from the kitchen.

I went towards the kitchen and saw N/N cooking pancakes.

"Lee Y/N." I said sternly.

She jumped at my voice and timidly turned around.

"Y-Yeah?"

"Why on earth are you making pancakes...?"

"Uh, to eat?"

"No, I mean why are you making pancakes?" I emphasised on the 'you'.

"Because I can?"

I sighed as I went up to her, smiling.

She raised her eyebrow at me before I pulled her into a hug.

"It's your birthday, silly! We're the ones supposed to be giving you gifts, not the other way round!"

(A/N: ^^me to ATEEZ on their birthdays...)

"I don't care..." She snuggled into my chest.

"Okay then, thanks for working so hard!" I said as I pulled back from the hug.

"Hmm. Have a pancake and get ready. I left some for the others." She said as I nodded before grabbing a pancake and stuffing it into my mouth.

I went to my bedroom to get ready.

We arrived at least 10 minutes earlier than we normally do...

"Happy birthday, Y/N!" Uncle Choi and Aunt Choi both cheered as they came in with a delicious  (your favourite flavour) cake.

Jungwoo and Nayun were behind them clapping.

There were at least 19 candles on that cake...

Just in case if you didn't know, Jungwoo and Nayun are the new employees here.

Fun fact: They're the same age as me and N/N but they go to a different college.

N/N smiled before blowing out all the candles.

"Thank you so much!" She said, bowing.

"You're welcome, dear. Here, have a bite!" Aunt Choi said as she cut out a slice and fed it to N/N.

"Mm, delicious as always, Aunt!" She said after she finished eating the slice.

"Seonghwa, take a bite!" Aunt Choi said as she fed me a slice too.

"You two as well!" Uncle Choi said as the other two finished the slice.

"Now, make sure you give some to your friends, okay?" Aunt Choi said, placing all the cut slices of cake in a box.
