~Chapter Forty-five~

(21st November, 2018)

<Y/N's POV>

This it it.

I'm getting this off my chest. I'm gonna ask him out.

All I'm scared of is rejection, nothing else.

Although, I kiiiiinda doubt he'll reject me...

Anyways, after pacing around in my room debating whether to ask him out or not for about 20 minutes, I finally decided to go to his room and I knocked on the door about 2 times.

"Come in!"

I hesitantly opened the door to see the 3 boys looking at me with slightly widened eyes.

"Hongjoong, we need to talk." I said, my nervousness slowly going away by the sight of him in a sweater which is definitely not his size.

He's so fucking adorable, I wanna pinch his cheeks so badly.

Y/N, control yourself.

"Should we go out?" Yuyu asked.

I nodded. He and Mingi both left the room, making sure to close the door on their way out.

"So, what did you want to talk about? You called me by my actual name so it must be serious..." He said, staring at me.

I just can't think of anything else right now, just his cute wittle sweater paws.

Wait, his hand is only a bit bigger than mine.

"Y/N??" He waved his sweater paws in front of my face.

Without thinking, I just held his hand. And sat down on his bed, with him sitting just in front of me.

"I wanna give us a try." I said, not really wanting to say it directly.

"You what?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"I thought you were the smart one, Joongie." I sighed.

"Elaborate, please."

"I meant, I wanna go out with you."

"Y-You mean you wanna date me?!"

"Yes, that's what I meant!"

"But what about Seonghwa?"

"He doesn't like me more than a best friend, he said it so himself. And I thought I shouldn't chase after someone who's not gonna accept my love. Instead I should give my love to someone who deserves it." I smiled as I looked at him.

His eyes were widened and his cheeks were pink, almost like his hair.

"You mean me??" He pointed to himself.

"Stop making this so complicated, Joongie!" I whined as I sat closer to him.

"You sure you wanna date me? I mean, why so sudden-" I cut him off by leaning towards him and pecking him on his lips.

"I'm 100% sure, Joongie! But, d-do you wanna stay best friends...?" I said, my confidence slowly bidding me farewell.

He shook his head and smiled.

"I mean, I've only imagined about this! Dating you, or having you more than a best friend!" He laughed.

I smiled after seeing him laugh.

"I love you Hongjoong." I said as I stared at him.

His eyes widened again before he smiled.

"I've always loved you, Y/N."

"Should we tell the others?" I asked.

"Let's. By the way, where's Hwa?" He asked.

"He said he went to Seungkwan's place to give him some relationship advice." I replied.

"Ohhhhh. Did something happen between him and Eunbi?"

"I don't know, she never told us anything." I shrugged.

"Hey!! Stop pushing!"

"Shut up, I can't hear them!!"

"What K-Drama is this??"

"Be careful, you'll fall!!"

Me and Joongie looked at each other with confused looks before going to the door and opening it to see the 6 brats standing.

"Uh hi?" I said.

"What are you all doing here?" Joongie asked.

"We eavesdropped." Sangie stated.

"We realized." I said.

"So you guys are all mwuah mwuah sluuuuurp?" Woo asked.

We all looked at him in disgust.

"Cut the sluuuuurp part." Joongie said, cringing.

"So you're mwuah mwuah?" MinMin asked.

"You know there's a word for that." I said.

"It's called dating." Yuyu said.

"Exactly!" Me and Joongie said in unison.

"What's called dating?" Seongie asked as he came back.

"Noona and Hongjoongie hyung are dating!!" Sannie jumped up and down.

Joongie and Seongie both exchanged glances before smiling.

"That's great! Since when?" Seongie asked.

"A few minutes ago." Joongie chuckled.

"So, who made the move?" Jongho asked.

"I did." I said proudly.

"Of course you did. Joong wouldn't have the guts." Seongie ruffled my hair.

"Hey!" Joongie said as he hit Seongie.

"So, what should we do to celebrate?" Sangie asked.

"Let's eat out!" Woo said.

"You two are paying." Seongie said.

"Fine, because I'm basically the richest out of all of us." Joongie said as we all got ready to head out.

My school decided to suddenly start online classes now.

So I might not be able to update as often as I do now.
