The Jameson's

(Daily Bugle)

Betty: "Boss?"

Jonah Jameson: "What? Is it my wife again? Tell her to cancel the chinese takeout I'm feeling gassy!"

Betty: "Actually it's your son."

Jonah: "Well why didn't you say so? Send him in. If you do I'll send you a bar of soap!"

(John Jameson entered his father's office)

Jonah: "John! What a nice surprise! Pull out a chair! Have a chat with your dear old dad! What's new son?"

John: "I..I need your help dad."

Jonah: "You heard him Miss Brant! What do you want, son? Coffee? Beer? Caviar?"

John: "I want...I need to get back at someone."

Jonah: "Revenge? Music to my ears Johhny boy! Who is it ya hate hmm? Is it Spider-Man? Please tell me it's Spider-Man."

John: "Actually it's Peter Parker. He stole the woman of my dreams."

Jonah: "Parker? Ehh close enough. Come on I've got something to show you, son."

(After a short car ride Jameson showed his son to a secret laboratory hidden in an underground complex)

John: "Dad what is all this?"

Jonah: "You want to get rid of that wall crawling arachnid Menace? This is how we do it!"

John: "No dad I just want to make Peter Parker pay for.."

Jonah: "Right right of course. Stillwell about time you got here! What do I pay you for?"

(Jameson greeted a scientist named Stillwell)

Stillwell: "Actually you haven't paid me at all for.."

Jonah: "Well this is lovely but I'm sure my son is eager to get on with the show! Isn't that right, John?"

John: "Dad what is all this?"

Jonah: "Son, for years I've tried to make the public see what a Menace that Web faced lunatic is..well they never did. So one day I decided, hey why not whip up a little experiment to deal with that Menace in a more direct way."

John: "You want to kill Spider-Man?"

Jonah: "No no no I'm not some mad scientist like Osborn or Octavius. No no what I want is Spider-Man humiliated. And what better way to do that then by making a superhero of my own!"

(A green armored suit rose on a platform out of the floor)

Jonah: "The Scorpion."

John: "Dad..you want me to..?"

Jonah: "Think about it son. With this suit you could have it all. You'd win over that Watson girl again, show Parker not to mess with you and of course knock the spider sense out of you know who. Ehh? What do ya say?"

John: "I..I don't know. I need to think about it. Is that okay?"

Jonah: "Of course, of course John. Don't wait too long though. I can't take another week of that glory hound parading around town with that smug blank look on his face."

(John nodded and walked out)

Stillwell: "Um sir. May I leave as well?"

Jonah: "Buy me a hot dog first. And no ketchup! I can't stand the color red. Or blue! But get lots of relish on it! Because the Scorpion is... "

Stillwell: "Right yes of course."

Jonah: "Wait! Actually I changed my mind. Let's go get some Chinese takeout. And don't tell my wife! If you do you're fired."
