Spider-Man 4

The Final Battle

(John Jameson saw on tv that Spider-Man was battling a mutant Lizard on the Chrysler building)

Jonah: "John come on. We can't stay here any longer. The cops could be after you."

John: "And who's fault would that be?"

Jonah: "Look John..I.."

John: "Save it. I never should have listened to you. But I'm in this mess now. And Spider-Man's distracted. I kill him and then I'm done."

Jonah: "No no John just take off the suit and forget this ever happened. No one needs to know."

John: "Too late! I'm gonna end this. Tonight."

(Scorpion jumped through the window, heading across the city towards the Chrysler building)

Jonah: "Crap...well no way am I missing this!" (He grabbed his car keys and ran out the door)

(The Lizard slammed Spider-Man against the side of the building, roaring and whipping his tail at him, Spider-Man dodged his strikes and webbed him, punching him whenever there was an opening)

Spider-Man: "Doc stop! I'm not gonna go easy on you if you keep..!"

(The Lizard's tail snatched Spider-Man and slammed his head through a glass window)

(Spider-Man freed himself from the tail's grasp and webbed the Lizard's mouth shut)

Spider-Man: "Okay that was just rude."

Scorpion: "SPIDER-MAN!!!"

(Spider-Man turned in time to see Scorpion charging at him, he managed to dodge out of the way just in time as Scorpion scaled the wall next to him)

Spider-Man: "Seriously? Don't I have enough green guys with tails to deal with?"

Scorpion: "Let's end this Web slinger!"

(He fired acid out of his tail, Spider-Man dodged it and it hit The Lizard who's lab coat melted a little bit)

(Lizard growled at Scorpion)

Spider-Man: "Now you're just asking for it."

(The Lizard tackled Scorpion and chomped through his tail, The Lizard then smashed Scorpion repeatedly and flung him off the building)

Spider-Man: "No!"

(He caught Scorpion in a web net before he hit the ground)

(Jonah Jameson had seen the whole thing)

Jonah: "He..he saved my son...maybe I've been wrong about him all along...Pfft nope! He's a Menace!"

(The Lizard turned his attention back to Spider-Man and leapt up to attack but then Black Cat intercepted him, kicking him hard through the building)

Spider-Man: "You..you came back!"

Black Cat: "I'm not doing this for you. Dr Conners was my teacher too. If I can help him then I'm going to."

Spider-Man: "Fair enough."

(The Lizard burst through the very top of the building, helicopters shined their lights on him as they circled the skyscraper)

Spider-Man: "Okay doc. Let's get this over with."

(Spider-Man and Black Cat reached the top of the building and faced off against the Lizard)

Black Cat: "I really wish we had a cure."

Spider-Man: "I'm willing to bet if we can tire him out enough he'll change back. It's not a permanent solution but it's our only option right now."

Black Cat: "Works for me."

(The Lizard charged as Spider-Man and Black Cat dodged his strikes and wore him down)

(Soon enough the Lizard appeared to be getting tired)

Spider-Man: "That's it Doc. Just lie down for your nap and everything will be.."

(Scorpion tackled Spider-Man off the building but Spider-Man caught himself with a web and landed on the next roof over, Scorpion landed across from him, seething with rage)

Spider-Man: "Really? I saved your life!"

Scorpion: "I'm not giving up so easily!"

(He attacked and fought Spider-Man for a few minutes but without his tail he couldn't gain much of an advantage)

Spider-Man: "Give it up, Jameson! It's over!"

Scorpion: "Not.. yet!"

(With his claws he sliced through Spider-Man's mask, the rips deep enough to reveal Peter's face)

John: "..Parker?"

Peter: "I don't have time for this, John."

John: "...so all this time..Spider-Man's the reason I lost everything? You stole Mary Jane from me!!"

Peter: "That was her choice. I'm sorry this happened to you but killing me won't change anything. Now I've got a job to do! You can keep fighting me or do the right thing and move on. Your choice."

(Peter swung back up to the top of the Chrysler building, leaving John deep in thought)

(Black Cat had been overpowered by the Lizard, he approached her preparing to finish her when Peter tackled him, hitting him repeatedly in the face)

Peter: "Enough doc! I won't let the monster take over!"

(He pulled them both off the ledge, using his momentum to smash the Lizard through several walls, finally skidding to a stop a few buildings away)

(The Lizard crawled away, defeated but Peter blocked his way, the Lizard slowly transformed back to Dr Conners)

Conners: "Peter...I..I'm sorry..."

(Conners passed out)

Peter: "Don't worry doc. I'll find a cure. No matter what it takes."
