(Spider-Man and Black Cat pursued the Lizard's trail through the sewers, after a while they came to an enclosed area where they both walked side by side)
Spider-Man: "So...kinda smelly down here huh?"
Black Cat: "No need to be nervous."
Spider-Man: "Uh..I wasn't.." (He sighed) "Okay look..why are you following me? I didn't want to say anything but I'm pretty sure you've been stalking me..not to mention that kiss.."
Black Cat: "Oh..so you're still thinking about it huh? Can't say I blame you.."
Spider-Man: "Nuh uh! Off topic! Off topic! Really though..why are you after me?"
Black Cat: "I..I wanted to find..an escape."
Spider-Man: "An escape? From what?"
Black Cat: "Just..life stuff..you wouldn't understand."
Spider-Man: "I wouldn't say that. I'd probably understand more than you think."
Black Cat: "Well..I lost someone. And I've tried to..come to terms with it but...the more I think about it..I can't forgive you.."
Spider-Man: "Forgive me? What did I..?"
Black Cat: "My father was shot by some low life! And you weren't there! You were there for me once though! When I was falling to my death! I even gave you the key to the city."
(Spider-Man was completely taken aback as he realized who this was)
(Gwen Stacy removed her mask and wig)
Spider-Man: "No..Gwen...Stacy?"
Gwen: "You remember me?"
Spider-Man: "Yeah I..yeah I remember all of that. But why are you doing this? How did you do all this?"
Gwen: "I've been training myself in martial arts and gymnastics for a while now. Not long after..you saved me I started to work on myself. To improve, so I could protect myself. But then..dad died. And I just..stopped caring. About anything...except you. I could never forget you."
Spider-Man: "Miss Stacy..I...I'm so sorry. I should've been there for your father...but I can't save everyone. That's a lesson I had to learn. I want to do whatever I can to help you."
Gwen: "Then take off your mask."
Spider-Man: "What?"
Gwen: "Show me who you really are. It's all I have left. Please..I need to know. I promise I'll never tell anyone. I swear it."
(Spider-Man hesitated for several long moments before sighing and slowly removing his mask)
(Gwen's eyes widened in shock)
Gwen: "...Peter?"
