The End of An Era

Nelsey Moments

Some of the cast members have seen on social media that fans have been going crazy over the filming of the Death Cure. You noticed that fans have started a ship for Newt and Kelsey. They called it 'Nelsey.' You brought it Thomas's attention, but he didn't worry about it too much.

For the next two days, the scenes are gonna be wrapped around Kelsey. You all were on set again, but in a different section. Wes explained the scene. Kelsey wakes up and tells the others that she's sorry, but they have faith that they can figure it out. Once everyone was good, you all got into position.

"Action!" Wes called.

Newt is sitting on a bed, where Kelsey is staying. He is holding her hand. Brenda comes in. Newt says nothing and keeps his gaze on Kelsey.

Brenda: (rubs a wet compress on Kelsey's face, which wakes her up)

Newt: KELSEY'S AWAKE!

The others come in. They crowd around the bed.

Kelsey: I'm so sorry guys. I let it get me.

Newt: No, it's not your fault. We're just glad that you're okay. Here. (hands her a cup of water)

Kelsey: Thanks for putting on the brave face for me, but I know I'm not okay.

Frypan: Don't worry. We'll figure it out.

Thomas: (kneels next to the bed and puts his hand on her shoulder) We're not gonna let you down. We'll save you. Just hold on until than.

Kelsey: (starts to have a coughing fit)

Gally: She might need another dose of serum. Oh no, we'll need to get into WICKED fast. This is the vial of serum. (administers half of it to Kelsey)

Brenda: Okay. Well, we need to start discussing the plan. Come on.

Everyone leaves the room, except for Newt.

Newt: Kelsey, please. Promise me that you'll hold on for us. For me.

Kelsey: (slowly slipping into a deep sleep) I...promise.

Newt: (kisses her hand, then leaves)

Kelsey: (opens one eye to see that she's alone. She pulls out a pencil and a piece of paper, and starts to write a letter) I can't stay here, it's not safe for me or my friends. It's best that I leave, so that I won't be a burden on them.

"Cut! Now, let's move onto the next scene." Wes said.

He explained that Kelsey leaves the group and sets out on her own. The others find her letter, then try to find her. They find Kelsey, and so does WICKED.

"Action!" Wes called. Everyone is now in character.

Brenda: Guys! Kelsey's gone!

Thomas, Newt, Frypan: What?!

Jorge: What do you mean?

Brenda: All that's left is this letter. (they all stare at her words on the paper)

Gally: Why are we standing here? We have to find her! (they all run out of the shelter)

Kelsey: (sitting up against a wall, crying. Her tag shines on her neck)

Thomas: KELSEY!

Frypan: Where could she be?

Newt: KELSEY!

Kelsey: (lifts her teary face from her knees and sees Newt) Newt.

They share a hug while Thomas, Frypan, Brenda, Gally, and Jorge crowd around them.

Newt: Kelsey, why the bloody hell did you leave?

Kelsey: I'm sorry. Because of me, you guys would've been in such danger. I just couldn't bare to think about it. (cries into Newt's chest)

Gally: Shhh. What's that?

"Cut!" Wes called out. You all came out of character.

"Y/n. We'll finish up Kelsey's capture tomorrow." Wes said to you.

"That's perfectly fine." you answered.

With that, you guys went to the trailers, then went back to the hotel.
