Chapter 14 - You're engaged?

"Yunlan, how is it?" Shen Wei nervously asks.

"Hmm ... It doesn't look too good at all." Yunlan honestly answers the nervous Shen Wei.

Yunlan thinks for a while before answering. "I guess I'll find some other ways to take care of it myself while you rest."

"Shen Wei - " Yunlan starts but gets immediately cut off.

"No! No matter how you say it, it's not going to happen."

"Shen Wei." This time when Yunlan starts again, he makes sure to place his forefinger against Shen Wei's soft lips stopping him from his protesting and interrupting again in which Shen Wei makes a pout but not saying anything. With such cute reaction, Yunlan inch closer to Shen Wei until his lips are touching the other side of his finger making their breath mix with one another. "Don't give me that look. You haven't heard what I'm going to tell you yet, so don't just assume things in your head, okay?"

Shen Wei gives Yunlan one last pleading eyes but Yunlan respond with a soft chuckle. So Shen Wei gives up and nods in understanding. He will hear what Yunlan has to say.

"Good. But first, you'll need to let go so that I can move. If you keep locking me in place like this, we can't continue. And grab one of your medicine pouch in your storage space for me. I'm going to use it in case it can help accelerate your healing ability, okay?"

With the new instruction from Yunlan, Shen Wei promptly brightens up and immediately do as he's been told.

You might be wondering what's going on and why would medicine needs to be applied on him. Let me assure you that it's nothing relevant to fighting and getting hurt. Let's recap a bit on where we left off.
