Chapter 22 - Wait again

"Zunzun, how are they?" Da Qing happily asks Ye Zun when he returns to Yunlan's home in the mortal realm.

"Da Qing .... " Ye Zun doesn't know where to start but the smart little kitty has already sensed something.

"What happened to Yunlan? What's wrong with him? He made it back right. Though he likes to brag, he always made it." Da Qing is questioning and saying many things until Ye Zun hugs him tightly.

No words nor the explanations were needed to say. Tears drop after drop are silently spill from Da Qing's eyes as Ye Zun does his best to comfort his little kitty.

~Yunlan's dream~

"Who's there?" 

"I mean no harm ... I come in peace."

"Then come out."

The youth in green gown jumps up to sit on the wall of the Dragon clan's resident. The person who found him is the youth in white who's practicing his sword.

"Who are you and what do you want?" The youth in white asks while pointing his sword towards the suspicious one on the wall.

"So fierce ... but you and your sword movements are really beautiful."

"You haven't answer my question."

"Oh! Really? Your beauty so breathtaking that I even forgot my name." The youth on the wall explains sounding half joke, half serious. "Alright, alright. Don't look so angry. I'm Zhao Yunlan. And you are?"

"Zhao Yunlan? The trouble maker from the Tiger clan?"

"My reputation even reach here? Let me clear this up a bit. Tiger clan? Yes. Trouble maker? No. I don't remember causing trouble. But I do admit that I go around a lot." Yunlan explains himself.

"Is that so? But the way I see it, trouble maker is not wrong though."

"Aiya, did I already left a bad impression?"

"Not yet, but you will, if you don't get down from there."

"Instead of me getting down, why don't you join me up here? The view is very nice."

The youth in white has never done these sort of things before. Yet, somehow when Yunlan invites him, it sounds very tempting. As a result, he actually goes up the wall to see what the nice view is. The wide field filled with flowers is indeed a nice view.

"So beautiful, you haven't told me your name."

"Shen Wei."

After the first meeting, Yunlan comes here everyday. At first he comes to watch Shen Wei practice. Though that didn't last very long as Yunlan somehow persuaded Shen Wei to sneak out with him. Of course it wasn't just to play around. They also practice their swords and martial arts together.

Doesn't it sound nice and reasonable?

Who would know that the actual reason is that Yunlan is attracted to Shen Wei with every passing day? The more time spend together, the more he likes Shen Wei. 

"Zhao Yunlan, you could've drop in to say hi sometimes." The Dragon clan leader tells Yunlan when he climbs over the wall of the Dragon clan. "Shen Wei, I also know that you're out there as well."

Slowly, Shen Wei peeks over the wall to see that his father is really there. He has been caught red-handed. Therefore, he climbs down the wall and stands next to Yunlan.
