BEACON HEIGHTS UNIVERSITY

OUTSIDE THORNE HALL

Everyone watched as Nolan's body was covered by a yellow tarp.

"I have to go," Mona said before quickly walking away from Alison.

On her way out of the area, she bumped into Caitlin and Dylan who were entering the scene.

Next to them, Ava was on her knees crying.

Caitlin saw her and knew how this all looked.

"Ava," she said.

"Don't! That's exactly how you imagined it!" Ava said as she stood up and backed away from Caitlin and Dylan.

"Ava, I know how this looks but I-"

Caitlin was interrupted by an announcement for students to return to their dorms.

"Let us walk you back," Dylan said.

"Or at least come with us somewhere to talk," Caitlin suggested.

"I can't," Ava replied before walking away with the other students leaving the area.

THREE DAYS LATER

DYLAN AND ANDREW'S APARTMENT

Dylan was asleep, twisting, turning, and sweating.

He was dreaming.

About Nolan.

Suddenly he gasped and shot up, awake.

"Nightmares again?" Andrew asked.

"Yeah. It's getting to the point where I'd rather not sleep," Dylan replied.

"I wish I could help."

"You do just by being here."

Andrew went over to sit with Dylan on the bed.

"I get why they cancelled classes for three days, but if we could just get back to some kind of normal I think that'd be best for all of us," Andrew said.

"Yeah, well, leave it to Nolan to haunt us in life and death."

"How did he haunt you in life?"

"Did I say that? I don't know why I said that."

NEAR A LAKE

JEREMY'S CAR

Caitlin sat in the driver's seat of Jeremy's car, while he laid on the passenger seat with his back against the dashboard.

"Want a bite?" he asked, offering her his sandwich.

"Yes...but no. I asked you not to offer me your food!" Caitlin replied.
