Dustin opened the trap from his halloween costume. A weird creature was now seen. His friends looked at it in disgust.

"His name is d'artagnan" Dustin said then picked him up. "cute right?" Dustin asked "d'artagnan?" Mike asked "dart for short" dustin added "and he was in your trash?" Max asked the boy "foraging for food" Dustin said "you want to hold him?" Dustin asked Max "no...no" Max said "he doesn't bite" Dustin said "I don't want to-" before the girl could finish her sentence Dustin had already put the unknown creature in her hand.

"Oh god he's slimy" Max said while handing it to Lucas "ugh, he's like a living booger" Lucas said while handing it to Will "ugh, oh god" Will said while giving it to Mike and Mike observed it closer.

"What is he?" Mike asked Dustin "my question exactly" Dustin said. "At first I thought he was some type of pollywog" Dustin said "pollywog?" Max said confused "it's another word for tadpole, a tadpole is a larval stage of a toad" Dustin explained "I know what a tadpole is" Max said.

"All right, then you know that most tadpoles are aquatic right? We'll dart isn't, he doesn't need water" Dustin explained to them "yeah, but aren't there non-aquatic pollywog?" Lucas asked "terrestrial pollywogs? Yep. 2 to be exact, indirana semipalmata and the adenomera andreae, ones from India, ones from South America, so how did one end up in my trash?" Dustin said "maybe some scientists brought it here and it escaped" Max tried to make a reasonable explanation.

"Do you guys see that? It looks like something is moving inside of it" Mike said then moved the light above it making the creature screech loudly making the kids jump.

It was about to fall off the table until Dustin caught it "it's okay, it's okay. I got you little guy, I know you don't like that" Dustin kept calming the creature.

Max started banging on the door trying to get into the Av room.

"Hello? Hello? Guys come on, can I come yet?" Max yelled from outside of the room "no!" Mike yelled.

"I don't understand" Lucas said "what do you not understand?" Mike asked "Will saw something that looked like dart last year?" Lucas asked "kind of, but there was no tail" Will said "but then he heard it yesterday, the exact said sound" Mike said "why didn't you tell us before?" Dustin asked "I wasn't sure" Will said "a coincidence" Dustin said "or not, what if when Will was stuck in the upside down, he somehow required true sight" Mike said "true sight?" Lucas asked confused "it gives you the power to see into the ethereal plane" Dustin said and Lucas sighed.

"Elaborate" Lucas said still not understanding "maybe these episodes Will keeps having aren't flashbacks at all, maybe they're real, maybe Will can see into the upside down" Mike explained "so that would mean..." Lucas started "dart is from the upside down" Mike said "we have to take him to hopper" Lucas said "no way if we take him to hopper dart is as good as dead" Dustin said "maybe he should be dead" mike said "how could you say that?" Dustin said "how could you not? He's from the upside down" Mike said.

Mike walked into the gym trying to find dart after max opened the door and let him out. The kids had been looking for dart for a while now.

Mike was getting worried about Bailey, he had told her that he was supposed to return an hour ago, but he never did. Instead he was busy looking for a creature that his best friend found in his trash.

He went into the boys gym locker and started looking around, but he was soon speed walking out of the gym locker trying to get away from Max, who was also in the gym locker.

"Why do you hate me so much?" Max asked as she walked after him "how could I? I don't even know you" Mike said "yea but you don't want me in your party" Max said "correct" Mike said plainly. "why not?" Max asked "because you're annoying, also we don't need another party member" Mike said and explained why.

Max went in circles around Mike on her skateboard. "I would give you a million bucks if you could" Max said challenged him.
"okay, you're making me dizzy, please just stop" Mike said "I'll stop when I join your party" Max said "come on...just stop" Mike said "it's a simple question. Am I in or out?" Max asked and Mike smiled at the girl.

She then fell off her skateboard onto her back and Mike grabbed her hand helping the girl up. Max explained how it felt when she fell off her skateboard.

It then hit Mike...

Went ran out of the gym door and started looking around. There was no one. But in his head it had to be El that made the girl fall.

After Will having a very long episode on the field everything sort of went back to normal and Will was off with his mom. Mike made it home and he entered his house seeing his mom making dinner.

"What took you so long, Mike?" Karen asked her son "a lot. But I have to start homework, I'll be up for dinner" Mike said while running down to the basement seeing Bailey laying on the couch while looking at the ceiling.

She looked over at Mike then looked back over to the ceiling.

"Sorry I came late, a lot happened today" Mike said "you lied" Bailey said "I know, I'm sorry, I didn't know so many things were going to happen today at school" Mike said

"You promise...me" Bailey said while keeping her eyes on the ceiling "I know, I'm sorry...how can I make it up to you?" He asked the girl and she shook her head.

"I'm fine" she said and Mike sighed "well can you at least do me a favor?" Mike asked knowing she's gonna said no. But it was worth a try. She looked over at the boy.

"Can you help me find el? I'm positive she's out here somewhere, Max got knocked over in her skateboard today, and it was like something pulled it, and I know El is capable of that" Mike said.

"No more lying, Mike" she said and Mike nodded. "Yea, no more lying, I'm sorry" he said and she nodded.
