Bailey let go of mike and got off the bike

She looked around to see the 3 girls smiling and waving at her

"There they go" bailey whispered to mike and he looked over to the girl and smiled, he waved at the girls then looked back at bailey

"Ready?" He asked "Yea" she nodded and they walked over to the girls "hi" bailey and mike said in unison "hi guys" the girls with blonde hair; she kindly invited bailey

The girls were the total opposite of what you thought they would be because if their looks

They were super nice and was welcoming

"I bought our tickets so you guys only have to worry about food" The girl explained said and they nodded "ok, we'll for starters sorry, my name it Vanessa" she said "I'm Bree" the brunette said "and my maya" the other brunette said "I'm mike" mike spoke and the girls nodded "and we all know me, bailey" bailey spoke and they all nodded

Mike and bailey stood in line, in front of the girls, waiting to get food

"Are you getting popcorn?" Bailey asked mike and he nodded "I don't like it" bailey said and mike nodded and laughed "I remember the first time you tasted it was when we went to see back to the future" mike said and she laughed

"Hey bailey, what are you doing on your last day here?" Bree suddenly asked the girl and bailey furrowed her eyebrows

"Oh-um this is my last day here" bailey lied and Vanessa gasped "I'm sorry if I took you away from your friends on your last day here, you guys can leave if you want to see your friends" Vanessa said to bailey and bailey shook her head "after this I have the rest of my day with them, you're good" bailey said and they nodded

Bailey looked around and looked over at mike "I regret this, mike-I wanna go home, I feel like someone is watching me" she whispered "bailey remember it's just paranoia" mike said to the girl while grabbing her hands and she closed her eyes tightly and nodded softly

She started breathing at a steady paste again

"Good" mike said as she calmed down

The 3 girls melted while looking at the 2

They all assumed it that mike and bailey were a thing ever since they saw bailey get off the back of his bike when they first arrived at the movies

"Next in line" the man said

Bailey and mike intensely watched the movie paying attention to all the cool details

Bailey looked over at maya "yes?" Bailey whispered "here, pass one to mike" she said and bailey nodded "thank you" bailey said "no problem" maya said

Bailey looked over to mike and looked at his features

His jawline clenched as he watched the intense scene, bailey smiled and tapped his shoulder

Mike looked over at the girl and she handed him a pack of skittles "from maya" she said and mike nodded and leaned over "thanks maya" mike whispered "no problem" maya said and mike opened the candy and continued to watch the movie and eat his candy

"Thank you for the invite" mike said "yea, it was really fun" bailey said and the girls smiled "I wished we hung out when you first came to school, but we saw you already had your friends so we left you alone" maya said and the girl nodded "we'll miss you" Vanessa said while hugging bailey "I'll miss you guys too" bailey said while hugging Bree then maya "w-when I visit I'll make sure to come see you guys" bailey said even though she wasn't going anywhere

Mike knew it was hard for the girl to lie, she didn't like to lie, but she had to for protection

"Okay" Bree said with a smile

"Bye guys" mike said "bye, mike, bye bailey" the girls said in unison and mike and bailey walked to the bike

Mike got on and bailey got on after and wrapped her arms around him and he pedaled away

Bailey looked behind her to see the girls

She smiled and waved at them and they waved back and bailey put her other arm around him and intertwined her fingers together

She laid her head on his back and sighed "I'm tired, but I don't want to sleep after what happened last time" she said and mike sighed "it's fine, I promise we're almost home" mike said and she nodded

Mike relaxed at the feeling of her arms wrapped him

The warmth made him feel safe

Mike stopped his bike in front of the basement door

He felt no movement behind him

He smiled to himself

His hands fell on top of baileys and he stood up with her sleepily following along

Once mike sat her on the couch with a cover over her she opened her eyes and looked at him

"Thank you for today" she said and he nodded "it was fun, I had a great time" mike said and she smiled and the boy was about to leave until the girl spoke "what's gonna happen for the rest of the year?" Bailey asked and mike sighed and sat next to the girl

"We keep you safe, maybe the byers' and el visits-I don't know anything could happen" mike said and she nodded "do you really think the mindflayer left?" She asked and mike shrugged "we thought we got rid of it last year, so I think anything is possible and he could always come back if we didn't actually kill him" mike said and bailey suddenly got a weird feeling

"Yea, even though I didn't fight it like el did, I think he could always come back" she said and mike looked at her "you fought him, a dangerous side of him, you fought billy so many times, and I was only there for you one time-matter of fact I was barely there for you, it's like my world revolved around el and Will cared more about you than anything, and you felt the same about Will, you both cared a lot for everyone but you guys both cared a lot for each other" mike said and bailey nodded "Will is my best friend, and so are you guys, but will and I got closer because we had a lot in common, but now he's gone and I have you guys, Dustin was the second closest to me, now he's the first-now that Wills gone" bailey said

"Let me guess, I'm the least closest?" Mike asked and bailey smiled and nodded "but your making your way up" she said and mike smiled

"It's goes, Dustin, max, lucas, then you" she said and mike laughed "yea, I guess we never really talked" he said "yea, I just thought it was awkward to talk to my sisters boyfriend" she said

Especially because I have a crush on you

She thought

"And you also called me Michael for almost a year" mike said and she laughed
