Bailey stood there in her same old condition, dirty and cold.

She regrets leaving the Wheeler's but Mike was never there for a while, she wanted to trust someone but she knew that she couldn't be worried about that.

Mike was worried about El instead so she wanted to leave him alone.

So she was returning to the place she never thought she would return to.

She was upset with herself, but she had to, it was best for her, she didn't have anywhere to go.

Once she got the the gates she saw a group of people she began to grow scared.

She hid behind a tree, hearing familiar voices.

"Let me press it" Dustin yelled at Steve and he started pressing the button she focused on the person voice for a moment.

Bailey eyes widened and she started walking slowly towards them "Lucas" she said under her breath as she saw the boy next to that girl she remembered from Halloween.

She stepped on the branch making everyone turn towards her direction.

Flash lights soon were all over the girl "Bailey?!" Lucas and Dustin said in unison "who's that?" Steve asked the kids.

They ignored Steve and walked up to her "what happened? Why are you here?" Dustin asked "Mike, he didn't come" Bailey said "I'm sorry, how does she know my brother?" Nancy asked.

"Look, she popped up at your house Mike took her in-" Lucas cut Dustin off "she's like Eleven, she just has hair and knows how to speak actual words" Lucas said "so wait-she's been in the basement too?" Nancy asked and the boys nodded Nancy sat there shocked.

"But that's not the point, the point is that your brother-" the loud roaring and screeching from inside the lab interrupted Dustin.

"Wait so she has powers?" Steve asked "powers?" Max said and the boys nodded "can you help us open the gate?" Jonathan asked and the boys shook there head "what if we need her for something else, she'll get too weak" Lucas said and they nodded.

Steve went back into the security gate box and starting repeatedly pressing the button again and Max looked at the girl.

"I'm Max" she said and Bailey nodded "I remember you" Bailey said and Max furrowed her eyebrows "I've never met you..." Max said "dress up day, you scared me" Bailey said and Max was still confused.

"Ghost" Bailey said and Max thought back "from Halloween? you were the ghost?" Max asked surprised "yea" Bailey said "I'm Bailey" she said and Max nodded and Bailey walked up to Steve and Dustin.

Dustin presses the button and the building lights turned on.

"I did it" Dustin said and Bailey looked at the boy surprised.

Soon Jonathan's car was driving back then all ran out of the way and hoppers car stopped.

"Come on let's go!" He yelled and then all ran into the car and drove off.

On the car ride there to the Byers' Dustin and Lucas told Hopper about Bailey.

They made it to the Byers. They got out of the cars.

Bailey didn't know what to do, all she could do was follow them all like a lost puppy. She got out after Dustin and Lucas, Max was behind the girl.

Mike walked over to Dustin and Lucas hugging them not seeing Bailey. After hugging the 2 boys he looked behind them.

"Bailey? How'd you get here?" Mike asked surprised "come on guys, it's not safe out here" Hopper's voice was heard making the kids all go inside.

Mike was confused to why Bailey was here, but he was happy that she was safe. So they sat a the table while Hopper was on the phone with the police.

"I am the police! Chief Jim Hopper!" He yelled over the phone "yes, the number that I gave you, yes" he spoke "6767-I will be there" Hopper said and hung up.

"They didn't believe you, did they?" Dustin asked "we'll see" Hopper said "we'll see? We can't just sit here while those things are loose!" Mike said "we stay here...and we wait for help" Hopper said and Bailey played with her hands.

They all sat at the table doing nothing for a while.

Mike soon got up and went to grabbed something he then returned with a cube and games and movies.

"Did you guys know that Bob was the original founder of Hawkins AV" Mike said "really?" Lucas asked "he petitioned the school to start it and everything, then he had a fundraiser for the equipment, mr Clarke learned everything from him, pretty awesome right?" Mike said.

"Yeah" Dustin and Lucas agreed in unison Mike then set down the game piece.

"We can't let him die in vain" Mike said "what do you wanna do Mike? The chiefs right on this we can't stop the demo-dogs on are own" Dustin said "demodogs?" Max asked.

"demogorgon...dogs..demodogs...it's like a compound it's like play-on word you know-" max cut the boy off "okay" she said "I mean when it was just dart maybe" Dustin said.

"But there's an army now" Lucas said "precisely" Dustin said "his army" Mike said "what do you mean?" Steve asked "his army. If we stop him we can stop his army too" Mike said and they all looked at each other, including Bailey.

Mike walked out of the kitchen and they all followed behind him and he grabbed the picture that Will drew "the shadow monster" Mike said "it got Will the day in on the field, the doctor said it was like a virus, it infected him" Mike said "and so this virus is connected to the tunnels?" Max asked "to the tunnels, monsters, the upside down, everything" Mike said.

"Whoa. Slow down, slow down" Steve said "okay so, the shadow monsters everything, and if the vines feel something like pain, then so does will" Mike explained "and so does dart" Lucas added "yeah, it's like what mr Clarke taught us, the hive mind" Mike said "hive mind?" Steve said confused "a collective consciousness it's a super organism" Dustin explained "and this is the thing that controls everything, it's the brain" Mike said while holding up the picture of the shadow monster.

"Like the mind flayer" Dustin said.

And Bailey looked over at Dustin.

"The what?" Max said confused "what?" Steve said.
