25. Brushing fates.

Recap: Suddenly his lips were on my.......

(The chapter....)

Cheeks. After a while I could feel his breath on my face.

I looked up into his eyes blushing.
"You look cute when u blush, demoiselle."
And then I blushed even redder.
"What was that for?" I asked at last, finding my voice.
"1. Youare very curious and that's cute.
2. Youare very beautiful.
3. I couldn't help myself. "

I blushed and looked around at our friends. Only Lynn and Lauren had noticed and both were smirking like they had just won a billion dollars in cash.

I looked back at Four and he suddenly said, "Come on! I need to show yousomething!"
He stood up and pulled me up with him.

We walked past everybody towards the stairs. At the top he held my hand and intertwined our fingers, and pulled me towards the balcony having a sea view.
As we entered, I saw the beach and from there, thousands and thousands of hydrogen lamps were taking off. It was the most beautiful scene I had ever seen.(pic in media)

"How did you know this happens?" I asked still gazing into the night.
" Max."
"Oh!"I replied. Then after a while I asked, "Isn't it beautiful?"
"Yeah! But the person standing next to me is even more beautiful."
I blushed, looked up into his deep blue eyes and said, "Cliché much?"

He grinned his most cutest grin which had the feeling that he was blushing.
Then he stared into my eyes as well and by the looks of it, we both got lost into each other's eyes.

Then he held my right cheek with his left hand and leaned down. He brushed his lips with mine and I was in complete shock.

Then he kissed me more firmly and before I knew it I was kissing him back.
One of his hands on my waist and the other on my cheek. Both of my hands around his neck while my right fingers gently brushed his hair at the back of his head.

After what seemed like a minute but was probably two, we broke away, our foreheads touching, breathing the same air.

"That was the most awesomest first kiss ever." He said blushing.
"Yeah it was."
Then he looked at me with quizzical eyes. "That. Was. Your. First. Kiss?"
"Yeah" I answered back.
"But why didn't someone kiss youbefore. After all your the most beautiful girl in the school."
I blushed but forced myself to continue, "the same could be said for you."
He laughed that even caused me to laugh.
Then we hugged each other for a while, enjoying each other's company.

After a while I stifled a yawn. But he must have seen it cause he said, "I think we should call it a day."
"Yeah!" I replied yawning.

He chucked and walked me down the hallway towards my door. I opened the door and stepped into my room.

As I was about to close it I heard a faint, "I love you, Tris." From the outside of the door. It most probably had been meant as a whisper but I had heard it. I opened the door a tiny little bit and saw Four entering his room.

I smiled, closed the door, changed and got into bed. I lay there pondering over the events of today. Our fates had brushed before but now it's left an imprint, with that first kiss and him confessing his love though he must have thought that I hadn't heard him.

I finally smiled to myself as I let sleep engulf me.

(A/N: sorry for the long wait. I have my basketball-friendly-match so that practice came up. I hope u guys like this chapter. It's really short. Sorry about it.
