32. The Final Disclosures

I woke up with bright lights stinging my eyes.

After repeated fluttering of my eyes I could see "them" clearly.

I got out of the bed and jumped into my parents arms. They hugged me back just as tightly.

"Oh my god. I remember. I saw you guys in the lawn with guns out on the CCTV and then I turned to go outside but a prick in my neck and a thud sound is all I remember I after that. I was soooo worried about Tobias and then seeing you guys their increased my anxiety level.... And.... Oh where is Tobias? What happened to him? Who am I asking? you guys wouldn't know him......"

"Tris."

"......Oh but the others must have told you about him. He is an awesome person. He is not that cruel. Marcus was just playing with my brain. How could I be so stupid and let him do that....."

"Beatrice!"

"......I'm an erudite. I'm divergent. But why isn't Tobias here...... Mom dad I love him and you can't take me away from him....." I said tears streaming down my face by now.

"..... Mom he is....."

" BEATRICE SHAILENE PRIOR !!!!!!!!!! FOR JUST ONE SECOND CUT OFF YOUR RANT AND LISTEN." My dad all but yelled. That got me to shut up. His eyes were blazing but the look on my face softened his considerably.

"Listen darling! Everything is okay. Everything is fine. Marcus is dead and so is Jeanine and the members of his gang who came here with him. Tobias killed Marcus himself. Our forces are rounding up the other gangster now as we speak. The leader is killed and the leader's only son is now outside talking to the ROYAL Forces giving his testament. He will come back as soon as he is finished with....."

His words were cut short by a very familiar voice yelling, "Tris!" From the other end of the room. I looked over my parents shoulder and saw Tobias sanding there, near the door.

I ran past my parents and leaped into his arms when I was near enough. Luckily he caught me and before I knew it he had smashed his lips onto mine. I tightened my grip around his neck and his arms tightened around my waist. It was a simple yet passionate kiss. It conveyed all the suppressed emotions. As we broke away after what felt like an hour, his fingers caressed my cheek and then he pulled me in for a long embrace. He nuzzled his nose into the crook of my neck and breathed out creating ripples of pleasure going down my spine.

"We are safe now!" He murmured into my hair. I just nodded in answer.

"I love you!" And this time I was the one who had said it first.
"I love you too!".He replied back.

Our blissful moment was diminished by a single "ahem-ahem".

We broke away from each other but not before Tobias had placed one more soft,quick kiss on my lips.

"You guys have some explaining to do." My mum said, smirking.

"You do too." I replied with a grin of my own breaking onto my face.

Turns out, my visions were all true but it didn't contain the realities of how we broke out of there. Mom was a divergent like me so when she heard all the plans, she helped dad out and they together broke out of that place with us before we could come to any harm.

Caleb was the first one to be injected with memory serum then, so he doesn't remember anything. Also he is not a divergent so that is helpful too. I was the next one to get the pricked but my weirdly-wired-brain helped me remember everything.

My parents were are a part of the "Save-Divergents Army" or SDA for short. My great grandmother, Edith Prior started this organization. It's like the CIAs only much much much more advanced. Most of the population there was also divergents.
