Sorry not Sorry

Chapter 28

Walking down the dirt roads. I started kicking rocks around until I got an idea. Kicking a rock extra hard. I hear a thump followed by.

"What the fuck!? Oww!!"

I started laughing really hard. I looked over to see Fuu in tears. She was laughing way to hard. We looked over and saw Zabuza looking pissed.

"Who the fuck did it!?" Zabuza yells holding the rock I kicked in his hand. He then throws it to the ground in anger. Which made us laugh harder. Gaara looks at us and shakes his head. While Haku was behind Zabuza trying to hold his laughter in.

"Ahhh! The sky is raining stone!!" I yelled an ran away with my hands above my head. Everyone laughing at me. While Zabuza yelled in anger and chased me down.

After a while we settled down. Continuing on our way to the next jinchuriki. We've been walking for a while. Yet we should be in the next village in a couple hours. There is two jinchuriki in this land. Yet there is a lot of people 'protecting' them. After a while of being with Zabuza and Haku I've realized something.

"Zabuza is a big softie. He is just madly in love with Haku." I say out loud. Them both hearing me. I felt a burning feeling on the back of my head. Looking back I see them glaring at me.

So me being me I winked. Then skipped away like nothing happened. Jumping on Gaara's back in the process. I put my head in his neck. He sighed and started walking away with me still on his back.

"Get back here you little shit!" Zabuza yells at me swinging his sword around like a man. Haku stands behind him with his hand across his face. I laughed at that and put my head back. I hear a chuckle and looked at Gaara. He was laughing which caused me to smile.

I saw Fuu running up to Utakata. He looks back at her and laughed. Fuu fell to the ground while running. Utakata helps her up and she laughs a bit.

"Are you okay Fuu?" Utakata asks her concern written in his face. She nods and laughs at herself.

"I'm fine everyone haha." Fuu gets up with the help of Utakata.

We ended our conversations. Leaving to the next town again. Yet I held onto Gaara on our way there. Not even realizing that I fell asleep until I woke up. Yawning and stretching my arms. Gaara holds onto me. Smiling I greet them.

"Good morning!" I greeted them and smiled. They smiled back and greeted me. Zabuza smirks a bit before speaking.

"You must really love Gaara. Huh Naruto?" He says with a huge smirk on his face. I watched as Gaara blushed which made me blush.

*whistle*

We both looked over and saw Zabuza smirking. Haku also smirking beside him with his arms crossed. They both looked like they were very proud of themselves. We both blushed and laughed at them. Trying to change the subject to get the attention off of us. We spoke up.

"So we are almost to our next place. Its close to Iwa. Which is where the next two jinchuriki are. We will take a break in this town for a couple days. That way we can plan out our move. Remember there is two of them. Which means we have to plan and be careful. There will be a lot of people after us after this. When we get them we have to move fast. Then quickly head to the Mizukage. Grab him and stay low. Quickly head to our next targets." Gaara says to them. I nodded my head and continued.

"For some of us Jinchuriki it was easy to get. Yet these Jinchruki can warn the others. So we have to move quickly. If we don't they will already be warned about us. Which will make them have higher security. Making our mission a lot more difficult. So we have to plan carefully or we will fail." I told them all. They all looked nervous. I gave them all a reassuring smile. They relax a little bit.

Fuu yells from the front. We looked over to her. Watching as she jumped up and down excitedly. Flailing her arms around everywhere. I laughed.

"Guys we are almost there! I can see the town now!" She yells excited. We all run up to her and looked. Confirming her statement when we saw the town. We all smiled at this. Watching as Utakata went down to his.

"Finally. I'm tired." He tells us which made Fuu laugh at him. He frowns at her which made her laugh more. Until he chased after her. The both of them running to the town. Zabuza and Haku leaving too.

Leaving Gaara and I alone. I looked over at him while we were walking. I noticed he had a small smile on his face.

'He looks so.. peaceful. He looks cute in a smile.... Um I mean..'

"Uggh fuck." I muttered under my breath. I noticed Gaara looking over at me. I laughed nervously towards him. He frowns in confusion as I did that.

"What's wrong Naru?" Gaara asks me. I just laughed and walked faster.

"Nothings wrong. What are you talking about Gaara?" I say walking fast trying to get away from his questioning glances. He frowns even more and started to catch up to me.

"You walking fast and trying to get away? Yeah your totally fine Naruto. Seriously Stop!" He yelled at me grabbing my arm. I jerked back and fell into his arms. He held onto me tight making sure I didn't try to run again. Laughing nervously I slowly looked up at him.

His eyes held a waterfall of emotions. He looked upset like he was about to cry. I hugged him trying to help. He tries to get away he seemed angry now.

"Do you not trust me or something!? What happened to us being family!? What happened to us being together and protecting everyone!? Was that just lies Naruto!? Why won't you tell me? I-i..." He paused and I felt something wet on my head.

'Yeah that's right we are all still broken. One thing could make us fall apart. Yet I'm scared. Scared of what he would say. Would he hate me? Would this ruin everything between us? Yet if I don't then it would be the same outcome... Gaara?'

I looked up him scared and vulnerable.

'He looks so sad I felt my heart break. He was holding onto a thread. Like he was breaking. Was I brave enough? Just say it! Ugghh what do I do!? Someone please. I gotta before I regret everything. Come on Naruto! You got this!'

I held onto him tighter. Putting my head in his shoulder. I noticed that he was tense. My arms around his neck. I did something I never thought I would do. I kissed him and said.

"I love you."
