I woke up the next morning before the sun rose. Climbing down the tree, I grabbed my suitcase and the money bag before jumping down. I started walking to town on the trail. When I saw the outskirts of the town, I went behind a tree and changed out of my lazy clothes that I was hanging around the house in when this all happened. I changed into jeans and a long sleeved shirt with a sweat shirt on top. I put my boots on that I always used on missions. I looked through the secret pocket in the side of my suitcase and pulled out two knifes and put them in their designated spots in my boots. I closed my suitcase back up and started walking to the town when I was dressed.

The first thing I saw when I walked into town was all the carts out for the special day. This was like a dream day for merchants trying to sell things to people who rarely come into town. I walked by a few looking at what they had for sell. A lot of them were just setting up since the sun was just rising and people wouldn't get up for like another hour.

I kept on walking till I came across the diner where I was to meet Jake tonight and I looked for a place to leave my suitcase. There were no good places that I could have hidden it on the street or behind the diner, so I climbed up the fire escape on the roof to see if there was some place up there. There was a perfect place to slide it under the air vent where no one would see it. I quietly climbed back down onto the street with just the money bag, which was like a back pack and walked to a bench to wait for the sun to rise.

About an hour later, I open my eyes and the streets are busy with people running to finish setting up their carts and the few early risers that can't wait for the parade. I got up making sure I still had my bag and no one stole anything. I was lucky and it looked like everything was untouched.

I started walking down the street to see what other things merchants were selling when the clock chimed. It said it was 8:00 and the parade was to come through town at about 8:30.

People started piling on to the side walks when the clock chimed; people were hoping to get good places so they could see when it drove by. I just continued to walk down the street. When I came up to a merchant cart that looked like there was no one there, I took a closer look.

"Don't be thinking about stealing anything. I'm right here." an elderly woman said who was sitting behind the cart.

"Oh, sorry I didn't mean it that way. I'm just so interested in what people are selling. These bracelets are amazing."

"Yeah, I hand made all of them."

"Well, how much for this one?" I asked pointing to one that looked like old rope with the letter 'A' on a silver square in the middle.

"That one is worth two silver." she said even though it looked like more.

"Here you go." I said handing over two silver in exchange for the bracelet.

"Come again Miss." she called as I walked away.

While I was walking away, I looked more closely at the 'A' and realized there was something carved on the back of it. It said...

Fight your fight no one else's.

I had to read it a second time to check that I had read it correctly and I had. But, what does it mean? There are many meanings that you could use.

I continued to walk around looking at what the merchants were selling till 8:25 when people said there were sightings of the parade. I found a nice spot on the edge where I could see when they passed by and get any gifts, if they were passed out. I had no idea on what to expect because I was just listening to what people said it was like. Then I saw if...
