The parade started out with a royal guard truck coming by filled with guards with guns. Then, the next cart was one of the royal family's carts that transferred them everywhere. The cart stopped a few feet down the road from me, and the princess rose out of the top of it with her designated guard. Then he spoke.

"I am here to announce the proposal of Prince Maxon to marry Princess Isabelle. Their wedding is to be one week after Princess Isabelle's 16th birthday when she will be crowned Queen. Would you like to say anything Princess?" he asked looking at her warily.

"Yes I would like to Captain. Hello citizens, I am so happy to get to see you one last time as a Princess. After today, I will be seeing you from a Queen position. Thank you for you always being there. If you weren't there, then I wouldn't have anyone to look after. I hope you have a good weekend." she finished up with tears in her eyes.

Psh, she's really good at acting. The second meaning in that last sentence, she wouldn't have anyone to rule over.

She got back into their carriage and opened the windows on each side so she could wave as they drove by. She was waving to everyone on my side when her eyes landed on me and she kept staring at me. I took that as my cue to run. I couldn't risk getting caught. How did she know what I looked like?

I kept on walking away with my head down. I finally made it a safe distance away to where they couldn't see me anymore. I looked back and saw that the whole parade and stopped and Princess Isabelle was standing up again and it looked like she was looking through the crowd for someone. Her Captain of the guard whisperer something in her ear and she nodded her heading sitting back down in the carriage. The parade kept going and other vehicles behind the Princess' we're handing out like bread and small gifts.

After that encounter I decided to walk back to the woods and hang out there for the rest of the day. I made it to the edge of the woods in ten minutes and I just kept walking. When I was a safe distance in, I found a tree and climbed. I could see that the parade was still going on and the sun was at only mid-day.

I decided that it would be a good idea to take a nap so I would be ready for the traveling this night.

You can't run from what you do. Jake always told me that, but I never listened. People will always want me, no matter what I do to try to change it.

I thought about as I drifted to sleep.
